Modern, fast and comfortable transport to the 12er Kogel Bahn Bergstation. There's several ski slopes you can choose to go down.

The whole area is just paradise for anyone into the outdoors. Take up any lift and enjoy the views to Grossglockner & co.

The Skicircus Ski Alpin Card lift pass covers a wide area encompassing the Saalbach Hinterglemm area, Fieberbrunn, Zell am See and the Kaprun glazier.

We really only skied the Saalbach Hinterglemm area where we found a wide range of usually wide-open runs. Skiing in March 2024 the warm weather was making a mess of some of the lower slopes with those that did have snow on turning very slushy in the afternoons, for the most part the higher slopes stayed in good shape all day.

Reflecting some of the comments made by other reviewers the slope grading did seem a little misleading, we found the black runs we skied not much different to many of the reds while some of the blue runs had some quite steep slopes along their routes. However, all the runs we skied were very enjoyable to ski with lots of mountain restaurants covering the slopes. If the snow conditions had been better the area would have offered some great opportunities for slope side off piste and some great serious off piste if your skiing is up to that.

For the most part the lift system worked well with very little queuing, although we did find a couple of places in Saalbach and Hinterglemm where you had to be careful about which way you were approaching lifts or you could find yourself with a bit of a walk from the end of one run to the next lift.

We did encounter a lot of school groups (may have been a ‘ski week’ in Austria or Germany), with groups of 15 to 20 children either snaking their way down blue runs or going full speed down the red runs requiring a sharp lookout.

We had been here before but we didn't notice the little house with all kinds of wood souvenirs. There you can make your own walking stick, the kids pick a branch from a big pile of wood that is the right height for them, they then get a wood peeler to shave the branch and make it nice and smooth. Then the shopowner burns their name unto the stick and adds a leather string to the top of it. The kids really enjoyed this!

Very informative walk. Suitable for kids, but not if you have an issue walking steps, as there are quite a few of them to master.

The whole area is a proper bike and ski circus. You will need many days to check all trails, restaurants and installations. Lifts are perfectly located and the joker card makes it easy. Just take your bike and enjoy it!

First going up to the Kohlmais with the lift, then walking down from the top to the middle station is a fantastic experience for the kids, who have all sorts of distraction along the way (slides, puzzles, fortresses, storytelling). There is almost any time left to see the landscape once you are in the experience.

The Water Playground was the final stop on a long trail of items between the Berg and Middle stations. Difficulty getting the kiddies to leave the Water Playground tells the whole story. Great spot
