- SalMargJohannesburg, South Africa122 contributionsJust such a lovely beach to walk on. I could have walked and walked and walked. We did take advice from a resturant owner who said go to the other side of Yzerfontein - in the direction of Cape Town. Here we found a very different beach. It’s rocky but also delightful.Written 19 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Merle N22 contributionsDid the 16 mile beach walk from Yzerfontein to Tsaarsbank in Langebaan 27kms in just under 6 hours and what an experience. Definitely not for sissies but absolutely beautiful beach. No obstacles along the way or rocks to climb over, just this long stretch of white sandy beach. Please just make sure about the tides, you dont want to be caught in high tide which will leave you walking in the dunes.Written 25 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lee-sah TCape Town Central, South Africa121 contributionsWhat a cute little find. We were on our way to Langebaan for a family holiday and thought we would pop in. Such a beautiful place to have lunch with the family. SO much activities for the kids and lots of open spaces. We didnt have a sit down lunch but grabbed some of their home made pies. ABSOLUTELY delish. So many birds and animals to see. The kids loved it. The play area was also a hit.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Tiaan SHo Chi Minh City, null, Vietnam7 contributionsA unique 'local' gift shop situated in Yzerfontein. Visitors are greeted by friendly staff and one can get lost browsing. There are local foods, gifts, sweets and even biltong - truly something for everyone and every occasion. I saw locals sitting outside, enjoying homebrew 'moerkoffie', or ladies popping in to enjoy some popcorn and a chat. The vibe is so nostalgic. I would definitely recommend a visit!Written 19 October 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KapstadtCape Town Central, South Africa1 contributionThis beautiful shop offers awesome handmade things for my home. Mostly it’s selfmade by women around Yzerfontein and they are absolutely unique!! You wouldn’t find something comparable in South Africa.
Salt is my favorite and simply a MUST DO!
