Pinnacle Mountain State Park is a must if you are in the Little Rock area!  The park is beyond beautiful and has a boatload of trails and water access points offering great views. My favorite trail was the Pinnacle Mountain West Summit Trailhead since it was kind of hidden and you had to go through a boulder field to find it.  Pinnacle Mountain is the only place I have ever hiked both the sunrise and sunset on the same day due to its proximity to Maumelle Park Campground where we stayed at.  The sunset views here are one of the best we have seen across the country, and it feels like you are somewhere tropical with the colors of the trees and sky when the sun is setting over the ridge.  I cannot recommend this park if you are Little Rock area

My wife and I spent an hour here recently. Unfortunately, we couldn't get a tour on this day, so we just visited the visitor center, walked around the grounds and read the various plaques. Such a sad part of history; but glad that it is history. We're not there yet, but the Little Rock Five are inspirational young people.

It is on a very large park. There are lots of people walking jogging & biking. It is a dam with a lock & a bridge over it all. This made for an interesting walk.

My wife and I spent a few hours here recently during a visit to Little Rock. The architecture of the building is incredible and there are lots of great exhibits, including a replica of the Oval Office.

The tour of the facility was very good, full of history and information on the company and processes. The tasting tour was very heavy on the bourbon experience. I am not a big bourbon drinker but sure learned a lot about it. The tasting of the other spirits was very good (didn’t leave without purchasing some). Definitely recommend if you are in the area. We had tasty drinks from the bar and they were unique and tasty.

This museum is probably the best kid’s museum I have taken my little one to and we have been to several. We have been to larger and fancier locations but this museum kept the kids captivated with lots of interesting experiments. We could have spent the whole day and not been bored. Surprisingly there is no food establishment inside but they allowed us to leave to get lunch and re-enter since it wasn’t crowded. If you have young kids this place is a winner.

Being a native Arkansan (now living in Texas), I have a lot of fondness in my heart for this building. I have visited many times and I am always in awe of the beauty of this building. We visited recently on a trip to the Little Rock area. It was my family of 4 (wife and I and two teenage boys). We visited on a Saturday. The building opens at 10am but there are no guided tours. On weekends, it is mostly deserted, with the exception of couple(s) taking wedding photographs. The Capitol is a smaller model of the U.S. Capitol in Washington DC. We had just visited Washington DC in June 2022 so it was great for my boys to see both buildings inside and out. Don't forget to walk around the outside as there are some really nice statues, including a replica of the Liberty Bell and statues of the "Central High 9" (the first 9 black students to enter an integrated Central High School in Little Rock. This was the first Capitol President Bill Clinton called home, serving as Arkansas Attorney General from 1976-78 and Governor 1978-1980 and 1982-1992. It doesn't cost anything to enter. The gift shop is not open on weekends.

Went here twice. Had pizza with my daughter at Jay's pizza, it was ok. The wait was long, 20 minutes but there was a sign. Bea Blessed Bakery was awesome!! The ladies working the counter are super friendly. I had a delicious peach fruit pie and my daughter, who doesn't enjoy pecan pie, had a piece and absolutely loved it.

This is a very small museum, but it was a lot of fun to go to, and there's a lot to see. We're very glad we stopped in.

This trail is amazing. From the market area downtown you can walk/hike/bike over 6 miles to the Dam Bridge. So much to see along the river and some great sculptures along the way.

Beautiful scenic walk. The bridge is roughly 1880 feet across. We decided to cross over the bridge after we left the Inland Maritime Museum to see the Riverfront Park.

The zoo itself wasn’t bad. The enclosures weren’t small like the one review written. And the animals didn’t look stressed. They looked like animals at a zoo. Mostly sleeping and eating and doing what animals do. That person probably shouldn’t go to zoos.
The entrance admission staff was great. The woman who gave us our tickets was informative with energy. So was the man who operated the train. But the Cafe was a bummer. The staff was awful. They were rude and unwelcoming. I felt like they were mad we walked in to drop $20 bucks on food. We were the first ones in the cafe and they forgot that we had even placed an sandwich and chip order and two waters. Pack a lunch.
