The memorial pools are a great way to reflect and remember that tragic day 20 years ago and remember those that lost there lives.
The museum was an incredible experience, the sounds of answering machines with recordings of those from the towers and planes that left voice messages was very sad.
Personally the most rememberable parts of the museum for me were
- listening and watching the clip of the First FDNY Fire Chief arriving on scene putting his rescue plan into action and giving dispatchers his report on what He could see and witnessed was harrowing.
- the wedding ring of a victims who survived the 1993 bombings but Sadly lost her life on 9/11
- FDNY Engine 6 and ladder 3 I found hard to see, as a firefighter myself you try to Imagine what it was like riding to the world trade centre that day and what was going through there minds on that morning.
