- orange-u-tallHenderson, NV748 contributionsThe best way I can describe the aquarium is that it appeals to families in a multitude of ways. It is highly visual, and that keeps the younger children occupied. While it is fun and educational, I felt it geared itself to cast a wide net for the entire family.
I was pleased with our visit, as it made me yearn for a deeper dive into marine biology, no pun intended.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Amy WPhoenix, AZ116 contributionsMary, Star of the Sea was quiet, peaceful and dressed to celebrate the season. The grounds had several monuments honoring those that have been lost. If you enjoy visiting area churches it is worth stopping by for 10 minutes or so as you drive through a shopping area in La Jolla.Written 7 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The library also has an amazing g exhibit of the archives and collection of Theus Seuss Geisel (named on his behalf), Dr. Seuss.Written 23 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Vivian HEncinitas, California, United States18 contributionsAmazing production, acting, sets, singing, lyrics, costumes and story. Loved the spin to make the story current while retaining the Peter Pan story elements that we all love. The flying was awesome too! Highly recommend seeing this musical!Written 11 March 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

In a space adjacent to and across the stree from the Santa Fe train station your modern art sensibilities will be expanded. The challenge may be to find nearby parking. On a Saturday afternoon we did find metered parking about 2 blocks away; there are also paid lots in the area.Written 29 February 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Laura1 contributionWhy are more museums not like this? The BEST interactive video presentation I've ever had in a museum. Interesting and informative the whole way. My 2-year-old and 3-year-old were paying attention the whole time. Felt like a half hour presentation, but I think it was more like 45 minutes. And then we spent a while panning for gold after. Free museum with a dedicated parking lot (also free). Exceeded expectations. My husband and I kept looking at each other saying how awesome it was for the whole family.Written 8 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Mateo RMexico City, Mexico119 contributionsIt's a nice outdoor mall, but nothing special. My only complaint would be that there are too few restaurants, not much to choose from. If you don't have a car you get there by trolley though it's still like a 10 to 15 minute walk from the station to the mall itself.Written 29 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 668stephanaEphrata, PA66 contributionsA work-in-progress (aren't all layouts?) - this is a must for train fans of all ages. They display several gauge trains - O, HO and more - professionally done and absolutely wonderful to see. This is one of the best model train museums I have ever seen - so reaslistic looking and extremely well laid-out!Written 4 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- wordforewordChicago, IL72 contributionsAfter we found this place, we were there almost every day either for breakfast coffee and pastry or lunch for a salad, sandwich or burger. The Liberty Public Market is made up of individual outlets with different food offerings. We found each of these outlets is special. They are not your typical franchised brand. Authentic and original menus. The owner of the pastry spot was from Paris, France. We loved the Rad Burgers, with truffle mayo and bacon, and the Cluck Flusters chicken, spicy hot tenders. There were so many different places to get something each day we visited. A large ample, free parking lot made it an easy choice. It was not crowded on the days and times we went, but we have been told by other guests that it can get crazy on the weekends and evenings. We went when it opened in the morning for coffee and pastries, other outlets were not open until noon for lunch or dinner offerings.
This is such a perfect spot for those in a group or family when no one can decide what they want or everyone wants something different. There are also retail vendors of clothings, art, and crafty items as well so browse around.Written 31 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - SusanABloomington, IL8 contributionsGreat for history or even graphic art buffs. Maps from 1400's onward show how the view of the world changed. Each map has a placard explaining how it fits in with the other maps on display and its political significance. If you read all the details you can spend A LOT of time here. Went in mid-May when they still had minimal hours due to COVID but staff quickly responded to my email. She was very accommodating, and we easily made an appointment. Not much of a "tour." Basically you just walk around, look at maps, and read about them. There are a couple of sofas to sit in and 1 video to watch. They sell NOTHING. I loved it.Written 29 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 2beans2000San Diego, CA3 094 contributionsSt James is a wonderful faith community with great outreach programs to reach out to serve needs in the community: helping Vida Hoven orphanage in Tijuana; helping a sister parish in North Park; offering assistance to Military Moms Outreach; food bank support; feeding the homeless in Ocean Beach and throughout the community; and fundraising to support grant applicants who want to achieve their own missions.
St James also celebrates the joy of faith, community and Spirit through music in many forms: voice, organ, stringed instruments, compline, and taize.
And St James offers wonderful opportunities for edification and education as well. With guest speakers and adult forums on topics such as interfaith dialogue; how to promote civil discourse in our communities today; Studying Scripture: Hebrew Scripture + Christian Scriptures; and more.
Come join St James in any of its many celebrations of faith alive in community.Written 15 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - A4722CAmichaelgPlano, United States61 contributionsWas recommended by our waiter to stop in. - Tiberiu_BaranyiTimisoara, Romania7 734 contributionsIn 2022 - another year with the C-19 pandemic - traveled once more to San Diego to attend APEX - 2022 , the world largest event for the electronic industry.
Rules enforced at the convention center - proof of vaccination, or tests , face mask on premises and distancing - dependent on your choice.
Entrance on only 1 door where you had to show always proof of vaccination.
Overall they did a good job from this perspective.
Facility was great , as always , clean meeting rooms , very clean restrooms, the main ballroom setup with distanced tables and the food served was also very good.
Escalators and elevators were working at every point - so access was easy everybody.
Parking underneath the building - so you could park your car with ease if you were driving to the event.
Or a train station right across the street if you were using San Diego public transportation.
Clearly marked easy to access drop off/pick up points for those using ride sharing services.
Overall a great place to host any big size event , even in times like this ... if you have doubts attending an event here , I would say just go , you'll have a great time at a great venue.Written 9 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - David C6 contributionsMy Wife and I were very impressed with the Art work, As well as the displays used to display the art work.
