Beautiful views on the beach, with restaurants (the beachfront one closed at sunset), stores, games, etc. We rode the Big Dipper, a classic wooden roller coaster that was fun but pretty jarring. - jeaniewestReading, PA25 contributionsI was traveling to San Diego and was determined to try surfing. San Diego Surf Company came up on my search and I booked immediately. Their website is easy to navigate and they reached out to me several days before my arrival and the day of my lesson via email and text. As far as I know they only have two locations one on Mission Beach and one on Pacific Beach. I chose a private lesson on Pacific Beach. I arrived at the beach and was greeted by several instructors who helped me get suited up and ready for my lesson. My instructor was amazing, he spent time on the beach and in the water reassuring me and being very patient. I had to do some adapting for an old injury and he was able to help me get up and surf within the hour. I count this day as one of the Best Days Ever! There is nothing like hanging on the waves while enjoying the most amazing views of the CA coast. - Garrett S1 contributionOur group of 6 kids ranged in age from 11-18. They all had a great time and felt like they received one on one attention. The instructors of Cole and Amber couldn’t of did a better job with the kids who all were first timers. - Ron BLos Angeles, CA2 contributionsI went to this very chill basin by the Bay and this incredibly kind and helpful employee, named Miguel gave me so many great tips on how to drive and manipulate the paddle board. I became much more proficient at the sport and it was all because he took the time and patience to show me the nuances of a wonderful new exercise and activity to participate doing. I looked EVERYWHERE and found nothing. I went on a trip to San Diego and knew I would have to find something there.
Still being the mother of 3 I still had some insecurities about my body ( especially about a two piece) but with the friendly staff I was able to find a bikini that made me look HOT!!!
