    Worth spending a whote day there
    It is worth spending the day at the zoo, so much to see, but bring your own food and drinks as the park food is very pricy especially for a family

    Review of: Children's Zoo
    Where One Can Pet the Animals - Part of San Diego Zoo
    The Children's Zoo is part of the San Diego Zoo. This is an impressive zoo with lots of animals. Its fun to see the animals in their areas, but sooner or later, the kids want to actually pet an animal and get up close and personal
    .
    This is what the children's zoo section of the park is all about. Kids and yes adults too can pet the sheep and goats and have a fun time. We enjoyed going to it. If one is taking the Skyfari Arial Tram (entrance side of Zoo - not polar bear station, one is very close to where the Children's zoo is.)

    As such, it makes for a great first start of the day at the zoo, or it makes for a last stop before departing the San Diego Zoo.

    Review of: Balboa Park Golf Course
    Beautiful views but in pretty rough shape with slow greens
    10 of us played. Course did add a player to our threesomes but that's pretty normal. Fairly spendy unless you are a resident. Pro shop and restaurant are in serious need of upgrade. Driving range plays straight up hill of mats. Hard to judge how well you are hitting it. Balls were pretty old anyway. Although beautiful views be aware this is a very hilly course and was hard with my bad knee. Greens were really slow. And fairways pretty beat up in a lot of places. Lots of trees. Note after 9 go back to bathroom building where full snack bar is. You don't go near main clubhouse.

    Review of: Wheel Fun Rentals
    Pedal Forrest, pedal.
    We were guests of the Marriott Marquis with "resort fees" to include a one hour bike rental ($12/hr) from Wheel Fun Rantals. The agent, (Ruben) was friendly and accommodating. A family of four, we rented the three additional bikes. We cruised the boardwalk and thoroughly enjoyed our time together on the San Diego streets. Great fun. Well worth the pedal. Definitely worth all the pictures and memories. Be sure to visit Wheel Fun Rentals when on the Sea Port Village in San Diego. You will be glad you did. Pedal Forrest, Pedal.
