- Simon WYork121 contributionsIncredible course , stunning views and just how fast are those greens ! Challenging and even though Championship course staff still unbelievably helpfulWritten 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Donovan OAllen, TX49 contributionsFun course for average golfers because most holes are pretty straight with very few water areas. Very nice outdoor patio area for lunch and they served really good food.Written 9 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CheapEats019Newbury Park, CA293 contributionsplayed the South course today...very hot but stayed in the shade. Loved the greens,,,the fairways need some work.Written 13 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- duffer47Casa Grande, AZ568 contributions10 of us played. Course did add a player to our threesomes but that's pretty normal. Fairly spendy unless you are a resident. Pro shop and restaurant are in serious need of upgrade. Driving range plays straight up hill of mats. Hard to judge how well you are hitting it. Balls were pretty old anyway. Although beautiful views be aware this is a very hilly course and was hard with my bad knee. Greens were really slow. And fairways pretty beat up in a lot of places. Lots of trees. Note after 9 go back to bathroom building where full snack bar is. You don't go near main clubhouse.Written 26 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Wesley F40 contributionsMission Trails / Cows mountain are the best places to go Hiking inside the City. The best part is dogs with leash are welcomed on the mountain. Woo Hoo or Bow Wow!Written 22 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

It was relaxing and fun...we never felt rushed or out of place in any way. Great for golfers of all ages and ability levels!Written 24 September 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ccrconincConcord, CA558 contributionsGreat golf course easy to make t time not like some of the municipal course in San Diego, we like all the water feature that the course has to offer and the greens are well kept and the fairways in good condition and we love the friendly staffs
Money well spend !Written 31 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - dheuer999Florence, AZ70 contributionsWe wanted to stay at a lower cost hotel. This place filled the bill. The lodge is not large, maybe 40 rooms, but rooms are fairly large, clean and the beds comfortable. There is an on-site restaurant (Oaks Bar and Grill) which is open from 7 AM - 10 PM. Mostly sandwiches, pizza and a few meals.
The golf course is from the 1970's. It is not a long course (white is 6101), but it is challenging with water features, traps, mounds and fairway edges that loose balls.Written 24 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - TillyLeeLondon, UK68 contributionsDifficult course when you don't know it. We had a great time though - every hole seemed like a challenge, with downhill blind shots, unexpected hazards. The pace of play was very good and there were sufficient staff to monitor it. We are going back to play it again - great value for money.Written 6 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LodiWineBobOceanside, CA442 contributionsThree nines on this course which allow members to play even if a tournament is going on.
Course was in excellent shape especially the greens. Traps are sandy dirt so it takes a little getting use to. Advice: stay out if the traps. South course is the harder nine as several par 3's are quite long for the average golfer.
Easily walkable but good carts are available. Driving and putting range and small chipping area also available. Small pro shop. Rest rooms were small but clean.
Prices are reasonable and course is also a JC Golf member. Plenty if parking.Written 16 March 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Mom3chicksSan Diego, CA17 contributionsThis place is so fun! Especially when Electric Waste Band is playing. Do yourself a favor and check it out.Written 14 April 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LLJ56San Diego, CA28 contributionsThis little course is a real gem. 18 holes all par 3. They range in length from 50-110 yards. You only need to bring a few clubs...putter, pitching wedge, an 8 or a 7 iron. This course is very well maintained. There are a couple of water hazards, a few sand traps, some challenging tree placements and lots of hills and slopes. You really can practice control, ball placement, etc. because it is tight. The greens are in good shape too.
There is a nice breeze, so it's not too hot. It is a great place to take the kids too.Written 15 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - John COakley, CA794 contributionsOh for heavens sake, what a course, so very challenging, small 18 hole course with 4 par fours. Located in San Diego near San Diego State near the Tecolote Canyon nature Park. all of the holes will challenge the best golfer, so come prepared, fairways are not in the best of shape, and there is a creek/stream that goes right down the middle of the course. Greens were in pretty good condition, slightly a bit fast but playable, some very interesting green and hole locations, not sure if it was worth the $40, might of been if course was in better condition.Bring your A game if your going to play surrounded by a canyon, and not much wind to contend with. I think I did my fair share of donating some golf balls to the creek gods. Strict rule of no ice chests or outside drink, funny thing on that Sunday we only seen the cart girl once for hot dogs and drinks.Written 11 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Ravi BSan Diego, CA41 contributionsThis is a really well kept secret. Its beautiful and really kept in terrific shape. Its a Tom Fazio design and is not too far from the Ocean so the weather is very moderate. They have caddies available for those (like me) that don't want to play a dozen times to figure the course out.Written 9 September 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- PHILIP B62 contributionsPlayed the Mission and Presidio nines. Was rushed at the pro shop to join a group of 3 other players a good 30 minutes before my booked tee time. Course was in OK condition with a few challenging holes but overall just a park course. Worth the small price of the round but there are other courses available.Written 8 February 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
