What travellers are saying
- noxiousburritoAnn Arbor, MI257 contributionsFantastic park and walk. Lots of full sun and shady cool places. Lots to adventure through. Beautiful architecture. Wish I could spend a few days in the park.Written 21 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- teresadoyle1New Albany, MS62 contributionsWe went to this ball park on our Old Towne trolley tour. It is a beautiful structure and it is easy to get to!Written 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marty FPlymouth, MI656 contributionsPlymouth's Kellogg Park is the site of many seasonal events, especially, but not exclusively in the summertime -- Friday evening summertime stage concerts, Community band concerts, an annual Michigan Philharmonic concert, special summer events for kids, fall Scarecrow decorations, decorated Christmas trees, January's Ice Festival (ice carving competition), and more. If nothing else, sit down by the park's fountain and enjoy the afternoon. Of notable mention are adjacent activities -- Saturday morning Farmer's Market, the Penn Theater ($3.00 films!) and the many restaurants that border the park.
For an update on what's going on in the park, check a local website for a schedule of events.

Beautiful views on the beach, with restaurants (the beachfront one closed at sunset), stores, games, etc. We rode the Big Dipper, a classic wooden roller coaster that was fun but pretty jarring. We had pizza from a midway spot, and our daughter enjoyed a "Dog on a Stick" which I guess has been around since the 40's!Written 28 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 2beans2000San Diego, CA3 094 contributionsSomething for everyone! Grassy areas for kids to run and play; picnic tables for lunch or snacks; basketball courts (check out a basketball or bring your own); and two levels of playgrounds, one for smaller sweeties and one for older kids. There are swings and tetherball, foosball and four square.
Something for everyone.
Tennis courts are next door but even if you don’t have a partner, you can practice on the rec center’s backboards.
There are also organized classes such as yoga and dance in the rec center building. Exercise equipment is inside as well.
Parking is on the street.

Bring your own targets and a hat for the summer months, pretty warm. Well kept and ample area to shoot.Written 20 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bradco2021Victorville, CA305 contributionswe were referred to this small but intimate entertainment facility by a local. Great drinks food and atmosphere. A must see in Downtown San DiegoWritten 1 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MichaelZ794251Buffalo, NY87 contributionsWe needed a lap pool, and this was an outstanding experience. Wide open lanes, clean locker room, hot shower, helpful staff, and just all around fabulous!!Written 14 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- golfer35Worcester, UK305 contributionsSuch good fun, affordable. Really helpful staff. Warm welcome. Clean. Easy to use. Easy to find. Equipment all supplied.Written 31 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Anonymous1 contributionI have visited numerous times and am appalled by how easy it is for them to get rid of all our best/favorite coaches. My advice - if you want coach consistency, reasonable prices that don't increase yearly, and a rink that supports its workers - GO ELSEWHERE!Written 27 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- SD-tssSantee, CA50 contributionsExcellent hidden oasis in Mission Valley. Acres and acres of fun and solitude. Fountains are the best for kids of al ages (3 to 103). Lots of grassy areas, basketball courts, skateboard area and parking. Bathrooms were extremely clean. They allow food trucks when you host your private b-day party or any other occasion. I've gone back again and again - weekends and weekdays. Enjoy!Written 3 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WOWLUK98 contributionsTogether with four adults and three children all ages five we went to the afternoon session with the inflatable obstacle course and the kids loved it. There is a basket ball net which you can shoot from the pool which I enjoyed but I need to apologise to the people sat at the side of the pool.
The changing rooms are small and the lock on my wife’s locker stopped working and it took ages to get someone to fix it but apart from that we recommend the place.Written 30 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Helene SHouston, TX1 762 contributionsNice peaceful park between the USS Midway and Seaport Village. Although I would not make a special trip here as a visitor, it was nice to walk along the harbor and see the unique outdoor modern tree themed sculptures overlooking the bay.
"Fish Tree" by Ben Pingot and Toby Flores cast the most interesting shadows. "Orange Tree" by Guy and Ellen Mayenobe was a simple interpretation of letters upside down and right side up spelling out "TREE" at the right angle. "A Different But Loving Pair" by Cecilia Stanford is so whimsical. For more information, text FISH or ORANGE to 53137 according to the plaques on the base of the artwork.Written 12 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - David MillerBeaumont, CA5 359 contributionsI went to watch the San Diego Legion Rugby team in the playoffs against the Rugby United New York team. The USD Torero Stadium is a perfect place for the San Diego Legion to play. I had Parking at the Mission Parking Structure across from the stadium. As you enter the Stadium above the seating area outside of the beautiful Jenny Graig Pavilion, there are many vendors in booths selling Food, Drinks, and Souvenir items. The 6,000 person seating areas in the Torero Stadium is just the right size for the San Diego Legion Rugby Team crowd. On one side of the stadium they have Plastic individual chair seats. On the end zone and other side of the stadium they just have hard concrete bench seats, so bring a pad to sit on. Also its hard to sit on the visitor side which is the VIP seating ? Because you have to walk all the over to the other side of the field to see the wide variety of Food and Drink items and to go to the bathroom.Written 11 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- D'Angelo F1 contributionHave done both rooms here and they were both very fun and challenging. Our game master was Monce, she was extremely nice and helpful when needed. They have a new room opening in a few weeks and we will definitely be coming back when it does!Written 18 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
