This was such an awesome trip with amazing crew. I went for my birthday and everyone was so welcoming and I learned so much. The food and ride through Mexico was also wonderful and memorable. 10/10 would recommend! You’ll regret not purchasing this experience.

10/10 recommend the Vino Vino Little Italy Tour. It was truly our favorite part of our trip to San Diego!! Our tour guide Anthony was charismatic, knowledgeable, passionate about the neighborhood and history, and above all FUN! This walking tour is sure to wow you with a rich history, beautiful scenery, delicious wine, and amazing Italian dishes. Definitely a memory I’ll never forget! Don’t miss out on this gem!

Everything about this tour was perfect. The only reason I gave this tour 4 dots instead of 5 dots is that I think instead of crossing back into the U.S. via Otay Mesa, it should have driven the full length of Mexican Federal Highway 3 from Ensenada to Tecate (via the wineries we stopped at) and crossed back into the U.S. at Tecate instead of Otay Mesa. That way the tour could have officially driven the full length of La Ruta del Vino.

…they all say fabulous things, and our experience proved them all true. Flexible, warm, professional, caring, knowledgeable—but I want to also talk about why it’s a great value! We were excited to do the trip though it was a bit of a splurge, or so I thought. If we were to do it on our own, cost of gas, tolls, Starbucks breakfast/coffees, delicious local lunch, amazing farm-to-table dinner, unlimited waters/beverages in the van, 3 wonderful wine tastings and snacks at award winning vineyards, adds up to a lot. Then consider the stress of border crossing (in regular lane unless you have Global Entry), driving the whole way yourself, not knowing where to go or what’s good, language barrier if you don’t speak Spanish, and using the wine spittoon cause you’re driving 😫
No, comfy Mercedes van with awesome tunes while Ryan and Olivia handle every detail is definitely worth every penny (they should charge more actually). One of our group wanted tacos and they made time to stop for “the best El Pastor tacos in the Valle” (and they were!) Another wanted to buy honey and olive oil, which they found for us (locally grown olives and local honey at a little stand).
Ryan and Olivia generously shared with us their knowledge, enthusiasm and love for this magical region!

Seven of us went for a 70th birthday celebration yesterday.
The ride down gave us an opportunity to get a good feel of being in Mexico as we drove down the beautiful coastline from San Diego to the Guadalupe Valley. He encouraged conversation and questions along the way. His choices of wineries were excellent and exactly what we were looking for. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and worldly.
At the end of the tour we all walked away with a lot, I would definitely do this tour again as we had the most fantastic day. I have already and certainly will strongly recommend Mario to my all my family and friends.

After booking for myself and fiancée I was told we needed a party of 6 or more, or for a little extra they could do the tour just the two of us. I thought about cancelling it however am so happy we did it anyway!! Before the tour our guide Roxanne reached out to let us know the exact time and where to meet her. The day of she was right on time! She made us feel very welcome and was great to talk with. She had alot of suggestions as to what we should taste at each winery. She made the experience one to remember! The only thing I wished for was more time!

Grapeline Wine Tours did it again for us! We have scheduled previous tours in Santa Barbara, but had never used them in Temecula. After the long pandemic lockdown, we were finally able to gather the entire family for a visit to San Diego. So we figured that a private wine tour to Temecula would be the right option for our adult adventure -- we were right . . . and so happy that we chose Grapeline to arrange it. Lori was amazing at providing information to assist in selecting the right wineries and schedule. Our driver, Chris, was an excellent and accommodating guide for the day. The limo was spotless and very comfortable for our travels to and from San Diego and among the wineries. We would all recommend Grapeline without hesitation for any of your needs in the Temecula wine region.
