There are no words to adequately describe the beauty of this place. There were many arches that could be seen without a long hike. Some could easily be seen from the car. Be prepared and take water with you. It’s hot out there!

This was only the second time driving the slick rock trails in Moab. Our family loved Hell's Revenge the best. It's a great balance of thrills, challenge and amazing views.

We didn't plan on spending much time at Canyonlands. We only allowed for about half a day at Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point State Park, which was plenty of time for what we wanted to do. One thing that was disappointing was trying to find a picnic table to use in Canyonlands. There were very few to choose from and the ones that were available had guests parked in the parking spots while they were off hiking. I would recommend more parking spots available for hikers and more picnic tables for those looking for a lunch spot.

The scenery at Dead Horse Point is just beautiful. I'm so glad we set aside time to visit this park.

Beautiful, moderate hike with beautiful views of the surrounding area and Corona Arch. If you decide to hike, be sure to head out by 9:00 a.m. as it gets really busy!

The petroglyphs right by the side of Potash road are some of the best we have seen and certainly the easiest to access. The road runs by the Colorado river with the stunning red cliffs surrounding you. Its well worth an hour or so going down this road and back gain.

We were simply driving down the road and came upon this magnificent arch right along the highway! What a nice surprise, easily accessible and photogenic!

GORGEOUS TRAIL!!! Our guide wore chaco sandals through this trail (we also rappelled to this trail). We crossed through the creek several times, and my Merrell hiking shoes were soaked. It was fine, but wish I had brought my sandals. If you make it all the way to the rapelling canyon, there's a stream of spring water that comes out of the canyons. Look for the wet ground. It's delicious! It's filtered water from the Colorado mountains.

We saved this for our last day as we were heading out of town for another leg of our vacation. We left Moab and were headed towards the Denver area so we took our time along this stretch of highway to soak in the sights and the views. It was sad to put Moab in the rearview but this area allowed us to remain in ‘the zone’ for a little while longer and offered up a couple of great spots for further exploration as well as a couple of picture opportunities.

If you’re going to go to Arches you might as well stop off and stretch your legs. All kinds of things to climb around on and an all-around great spot for pictures. It is quite impressive in person and pictures don’t do it justice!

You will definitely have the road to yourself in November. This road travels to 8000 feet of elevation and shows amazing scenery.

The drive was varied and beautiful. It was easy to find and see the various sites displaying ancient petroglyphs. Absolutely amazing! Well worth the time to see these historic sites.

We arrived to Moab area mid afternoon and wanted to do something before sunset. This place was perfect. We enjoyed taking a lot of photos of dinosaur statues with beautiful rocky backgrounds. 3D aquarium was very cool! We loved it. The place wasn’t busy at all, towards the end it was just us! We enjoyed walking around among dinosaurs!!

The Dino Trail and Tracksite are 2 separate areas in close proximity. As of April 16, 2022 the track portion is still closed due to damage caused by construction vehicles. This was super disappointing for our Dino loving boys.
We traveled by minivan so to get to the trail with bones we needed to park about 1/2 mile away and hike in. The road had deep sand, large rocks and some big puddles- don’t attempt it without 4WD.
The bone trail was nice and fairly short but has a decent bit of climbing to it.

beautiful drive in an intense red canyon along the river. Some parking was full. I would camp there if I were camping tho I think no services.
