Driving from Northshore and what a view. Stopped to take pictures as this is more of what we thought the Northshore would be like.

The access to the beach is convenient and below the lookout. There are also areas to walk along the rocks and enjoy the swells that come in. A great experience

The drive is open to the public on the weekends. We went mid day on a Sunday and had no issues finding parking. Beautiful sandy beach with fun boogie boarding. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beach. Life guards were present as well.

I spent a beautiful warm and sunny morning at Sea Life Park.

The park is small and the cost to enter is just under $50.00 per person. Parking is $10.00 per vehicle. The park was practically empty when I was there. You can finish it in about an hour.

The California Sea Lion show was ok. The female trainer tried really hard to engage the crowd and it was educational.

They have a few exhibits and habitats with animals in them - California Sea Lion, Hawaiian Monk Seal, Humboldt Penguin, Great Frigate, Brown Booby, Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin, Wholphin, and Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. The exhibits could be nicer, but they were not horrible.

The reason I rated it average is because I tried for days to purchase a ticket on their website (the cost is lower online - $39.99 online vs. $44.99 at the gate) and it never worked. I tried different browsers, on my iPhone, my Dell laptop, and my Mac. Then I tried to call. The recording would tell you your place in line and then after waiting on hold for a long time, it would disconnect you. Horrible customer service and it feels scammy to have a lower ticket price online and then not allow a customer to purchase it.

This is a great beach. The water is a little rougher but the sand is soft underfoot. Less crowded than other beaches. Lots of families having picnics and parties out. There’s a bathroom with showers (no hand soap, FYI).

My kids stayed in the water the whole time we were here. People seemed friendly. Saw a beach patrol twice on 4X4.

    I recommend this beach.

Honey cream pineapple is the best. Never had that sweet pineapple before. Other tropical fruits are also good.

Customer service non existent, but the amazing collection of fruits make up for that deficiency!

If you are lucky you will get parking its super beautiful. But don't leave anything in your car anywhere in hawaii & there are bathrooms. Its a spiritually magical place :D

Across the water from the pier is Rabbit Island. From places on the road you can see the pier and it has some great backdrops for photo ops. This is also the pier that was on Magnum PI where TC had his helicopter.

If your already doing the lighthouse hike it’s worth the extra walk down to this little beach. There’s a few tide pools to look around in and explore

Well, if I were to get married again, I'd consider coming here. The chapel and the scenery are beautiful for that once or twice or three time in a lifetime event. The chapel is located at the entrance of Sea Life Park and it overlooks the park and the ocean. Beautiful setting!

It’s a very different experience, got to see their traditional dance, listen to their local songs. They explained bit of Hawaii history, and the fire show at the end was truly amazing. I gave 4 star because of the food. It was not at all good, and they served in very small portions.

Doug took me up for my first paragliding flight on a gorgeous day over Waimanalo. He is extremely safety oriented and he ensured I knew exactly what I needed to do during the pre-flight session. As we flew, he explained how the wind works to create such great updrafts that carried us up to 2,200 feet! Very cool experience and I can't wait to go again. Thanks Doug!
