- Maria H1 contributionOur family of four loved Sea Paradise's morning catamaran cruise and snorkeling trip. The crew (Captain Troy, Denali, Beau, & Shannon) were all super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and very safety conscious. We had swimmers of all ages and abilities on the boat and I could see how thoughtful they were with each group of passengers. They pointed out flying fish, shared Hawaiian history, and served us yummy snacks and a deli lunch. We snorkeled in two spots near to each other, but each offered different lava formations and fun fish. - Kelly50 contributionsWe had a great time with captain raj and Robert! We stopped at two step & captain cook to snorkel. We could see lots of fish, there was some sand in the water from the swell but it didn’t take away from the experience! We saw some coastal caves and they provided plenty of drinks/snacks for us. We enjoyed learning some history about the island, and of course the beautiful sunset was breathtaking! The cove we sailed to was incredible and the whole experience was really fun for our family of four (two adults, kids 5 and 8). Even the 5-year-old got in the water and got to snorkel safely. He allocates the time just right, always gives us enough time to explore ourselves after his introduction. The painted church is unique. We get to see one sea turtle. He is attentive to everyone on the bus, gave us options to the end. - Heather G2 contributionsI booked this snorkeling boat trip with my husband and two teenagers. We all absolutely loved it. The boat ride itself was fun because our guides were knowledgeable and funny. They made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. On our way to the snorkeling site, we saw humpback whales and dolphins which was amazing. We arrived at Captain Cook to snorkel. There were other boats there too, but there was plenty of room for everyone. We received drinks and snacks. We got right into the water and instantly saw how amazing it was. You snorkel right over the reef and saw the most amazing friendly fish. We even saw an eel. It wasn't scary because you aren't in the middle of the ocean. It was definitely our favorite experience of our trip. I highly recommend this. We also received sandwiches and chips and they were delicious. From Capitan Troy to the crew members Denali, Neo and Beau your service was top notch! Safety was priority number one! They took outstanding care of my 75 year old mom who snorkeled for her very first time!! Topped off with an opportunity to put up the sails, shut off the engine and quietly sail for a few minutes!! Our entire group enjoyed this adventure so much!! - Rebecca RWoodstock, GA1 contributionThe snorkel trip was great. The boat had plenty of open and covered seating areas. Snorkeling in the bay where Captain Cook's monument was a calm location. One of the great things about the boat were the two sets of wide steps with railings in the back. It made getting in and out of the water very easy. Front slides were fun for many of the guests. The light snack after snorkeling hit the spot. All gear was provided including masks that had corrective lenses. There is plenty of time for snorkeling too. The gear provided was high quality. This was actually our second time taking this tour, that's how much we loved it. You can customize it to see what you want to see at the pace you want to see it. it was very informative, great directions, interesting stories, optional Hawaiian music in between info, and good restaurant suggestions along the way. And for the price, you can't get any better way to see and learn about the island.
