- arinn18Hilton Head, SC55 contributionsWhat fun it was to walk around the cavern. There was great signs and information to learn. The lights were perfectly places to alluminate the stalactites and stalagmites. My daughters had a great time and even sent pictures to their friends.Written 5 August 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - celia mLewisburg, WV156 contributionsOne of the things I miss the most during this time of covid is seeing live theater at GVT!! The quality of acting and choice of plays is fantastic. I love the local actors mix with professional actors, the quality is amazing. I love local writers being showcased too! I highly recommend! Go away covid, we want GVT back!!Written 28 February 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- CesarGeranemoMorehead, KY114 contributionsWe visited this previously unbeknownst to us Antebellum Home on this, our initial visit to Lewisburg WV. Home is also headquarters for the Greenbriar Historical Society. Tours are a nominal $5.00 per person. We had the good fortune of having Cassidy as our guide. She brought the home and history to life with a passion you don’t always receive during historical tours. Multiple eclectic wonders within these walls. We’ve done many house tours across the country, This was one of the best...Highly Recommended!Written 31 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - celia mLewisburg, WV156 contributionsLOVE this theater! Sends you back in time, if you live here, you know the ticket seller, the person at the concession bar and the camera person! If you're a health food nut you appreciate nutritional yeast to put on your popcorn! You can get a beer here! LOVE this theater!Written 7 January 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- hopeanimalsLexington, KY114 contributionsNicely located shop on what I believe to be the Main Street in town. It was raining when we arrived but we did find free street parking around the corner. Antiques are high class and nice to look at, just didn’t have a lot of what we would desire to but at the time. The wine and beer selection was great. Bought a bottle of local wine but they had some nice name brands as well. Would recommend!Written 18 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mark GCatonsville, MD2 635 contributionsThe Greenbriar Valley Mall was built in 1979 and I am surprised that with such a small population center it was even attempted then.It is basically a partially enclosed mall and partially a strip center that you see in a lot of smaller towns. There are only a few stores left with a huge K Mart anchoring the south end and Peebles in the middle along with Hibbert Sporting goods and an Italian restaurant. The north end has a Save-A-Lot, Mexican restaurant and Advance Auto Parts along with a Chinese restaurant in the side parking lot.The movie theatre in the back looks like it is closed down.
The interesting thing about the mall is that inside it is very attractive with narrower walkways mimicking old tyme city streets with gabled roof canopies over the stores, wood shingles and colonial style glass storefronts. If this mall was located north of Lewisburg near I-64 I think it would be thriving, larger and with more stores.
Normally this would deserve a 1 rating but with the inside design at a 4 that has stood the test of time and retail complications in areas with small population bases I had to up the grade.Written 28 October 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Trillium is dedicated to presenting interesting, beautiful, creative, intriguing dance performances. I never miss a concert and sometimes go twice! Love this town!Written 18 May 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- todd3128Virginia Beach, VA40 contributionsI was not planning on going in, but I saw a piece of art in the window that I had to have. The store is huge and there is something in every price range. My husband ended up buying a piece of men’s jewelry and we bought the art piece in the window. They employees were great with our three hyper kids. There is a little something for everyone in this store and I will make it a point to come back when visiting the area again.Written 8 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
