It's one of best museums I have ever visited.
We (myself and two daughters, age 7 and 5 ) are so glad we made the three hour journey from the south of England to visit this fantastic museum staffed by knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers.

The museum staff were wonderful, helpful and informative, the exhibits were displayed tastefully, with wonderful information boards explaining the history of the town through the ages.
Wonderful playing areas for families and children - great place for a walk - beautiful and well kept gardens and the museum is a must see.

The museum is a fascinating walk back in time which we thoroughly enjoyed.
This war museum was really good, I recommend going to it because I felt like I was in a real war and it was very interesting.
