We found great results, but some are outside Istria. Showing results in neighbouring cities.
Limit search to Istria.
#1 of 3 Museums in Vodnjan
Our visit to this little museum was brought alive by our italian english-speaking guide who explained the significance and history of the objects displayed in an engaging and humorous way.
This is a relaxed informal tour/walkabout with great information about the museum itself and its connection with the neighbourhood.
Zagreb 80's Museum Zagreb 1.2 km away

One of the most fun museums I have ever been to, very highly recommend!
The museum is quite small but there are lots of things to do, playing on a Commodore, listening to the LPs, reading books and magazines, writing on a typing machine, driving Fico or Tomos motorbike, etc...
Trakoscan Castle (Dvor Trakoscan) Trakoscan 50.2 km away
#1 of 1 Museums in Trakoscan
Breathe in enough fresh, clean, forest air and climb up to the castle, take a look at it from all angles, as well as the inner lining of the museum.
Nice museum

I have been to numerous art museums in the USA , European countries and Korea and I can say that this museum has really unique and distinctive style of paintings that you can only see in Croatia.
My husband and I have been to many wonderful museums around the world, but there was something special in these colorful, on-glass paintings by artists who simply paint the landscapes, people, and religious scenes...

There is also a museum shop which offers a great variety of Istrian oil, as well as products made of olive wood, so you can take the taste of the Istria with you.
We just did the museum tour but found it really interesting, both the history but also learning about the production of olive oil.

One of my favorite Zagreb museums
The unassuming entrance to this museum belies the riches inside and evolution of experience which parallels the historic evolution of the city.
