- Thomas VOakland, CA16Â 858 contributionsA world-famous shopping mall, attracts shoppers and sight-seers from all over the world. Nice to see stores busy, nice to see so many people enjoying itself. And it is the anchor to the fanciest modern part of town, lots of tall apartment buildings.Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcus501Maumelle, AR48 contributionsI found plenty of goodies that was on sell at this mall. I'll definitely be back for more deals. - NicholeKaty, TX4 contributionsDefinitely a hidden gem in Houston Museum District! Small exhibit but perfect if you are dragging unwilling participants with you. I will be adding it to my rotation of place to revisit often. Pair it with a brewery or restaurant in the area for a perfect outing!Written 6 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marcy AHouston, TX173 contributionsGreat unique museum. It is small and has an excellent history of printing and how it evolved. Enjoyed reading the old newspapers from the 19th century.Written 25 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LaceyAkron, OH164 contributionsMy family with teenagers enjoyed this ‘art experience’. My toddler would have also loved this (had she gone). She would have loved looking at all the colors and lights. This is age appropriate for all. Individuals who are sensitive to bright lights, sounds, and often over stimulated would probably want to skip out on this.
I was impressed how often I saw the workers cleaning as people were exiting a section. Plenty of hand sanitizer around as well.
I love the timed entry as well. It was not busy at all and we had exhibits to ourselves. I also love that it’s self paced and you can spend as much time as you like inside.
Cons- the exhibits weren’t as interactive as I thought they would be. It’s still a cool thing to see. We are glad we went but its not something I would come to again, since it’s not interactive and doesn’t appear to change much.
Total time we spent inside was about 40 minutes. BUT younger kids (maybe 5-10 years old) would definitely enjoy this for a longer period of time .
Also, great place to go to get out of the heatWritten 27 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - gstlbSan Antonio, TX7 contributionsVery nice and quite large set of stores. Houston has a very large Asian community. This particular mall has a lot of Vietnamese as well as Korean and Chinese shops. Nearby Dun Huang Plaza is mostly Chinese with a few Korean shops (in case any of that matter to you).Written 3 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jua cDelray Beach, FL86 contributionsThis smaller shopping center has very good boutiques and smaller establishments. I specially Love. VIKARI French boutique! It’s worth a trip! Their women’s clothing and home items are always a great one of a kind find!Written 30 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara FHouston, TX2 contributionsIt's a cool place to go if you are looking bargains and the weather is good, or just to get outside to walk around for exercise. There are lots of vendors that sell just about everything. They do not really sell things at flea market prices. Do not expect great deals. They had an amusement park here for kids. They have food trucks and multiple locations to get food and drinks. They do serve alcohol so we had a few. Parking was 4 dollars.Written 14 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Thomas VOakland, CA16Â 858 contributionsThese are very practical passages that link up buildings downtown that allow you to walk around without going into the weather, which can be unpleasant. - cmsoto2582Houston, Texas, United States174 contributionsI thoroughly enjoy coming here to soak up all the goodness. I know it sounds funny but there is a ambience this museum has that instantly calms you. They have a nice selection of books to drown in and that's exactly what I come looking for.
