Small interesting museum filled with a wide collection of old artifacts from the citizens of Bandera and the surrounding area. Enjoyed reading about the outstanding citizens.

A perfect walk in the park!
My travel partner and I wanted a day activity during our brief vacation to San Antonio, and, being new to this part of the country, wanted to see the surroundings. This park did not disappoint! Very friendly staff with practical information, mostly well marked trails and the perfect distance for a hike. We went to a view up a hill and it was lovely vista indeed, with country new to us. We felt very satisfied after the almost 4 mile hike. I would only say that, for experienced hikers, what they said was strenuous was really not so much!

While staying in the Bandera area for 2 weeks, we admired this beautiful Polish Catholic church. Timing was perfect to visit the church, the parish buildings, its historic cemetery, and attend the once a month fish fry. The church was absolutely beautiful inside with its authentic stained glass windows and original wood decor. The people at the fish fry were very friendly and welcoming.

Really great experience for my 4 year old granddaughter! Birds of Prey live show while we were there that she really enjoyed also. The life size dioramas are just amazing. Wonderful afternoon trip into Bandera from Kerrville.

Wow! This place is amazing and huge! I can’t even begin to describe the amount of antiques and vintage stuff that was around every turn. Worth checking out for sure! Make sure you have time to take it all in.

Make sure you stop here when you arrive in Bandera. The staff are so helpful and gave us some great recommendations and advice for how to make the most of our time in the town. Cold water was also much appreciated in the heat!

What made this visit special for us was the Texas Long Horn and Cowboy Chuck Wagon which were tied up out front. With two older gentlemen in charge, you could pet the steer and have your picture taken with it ... and (pretend to) enjoy some cowboy coffee. A great little stop.
