Living in South Australia, we often visit the Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills wineries, but we had a different experience visiting Yileena Park.
We are extremely glad we stopped at the Yileena Park Winery...which is one of the best boutique wineries I have had the privilege to experience in quite some time.

The bonuses here are the Dame Nellie Melba connection (including some memorabilia on display), and a winery restaurant that – unlike some in the Yarra – is happy to provide you with a takeaway coffee.
Dame Nellie Melba's favourite homeground which is now an estate with small museum-like exhibition, vineyard and restaurant.

Vince was so friendly and helpful even though he was very busy, and we bought more wine here than from any of the other wineries we visited.
We had the good fortune of stumbling across this winery on a long walk around the valley... Lucy was incredibly friendly and passionate about their wines...

There are some awesome wineries in Australia especially in the Rutherglen region but this one is by far one of the best we have visited.

This was the first stop on our trip out to the Yarra Valley wineries and it was a great introduction to the complexity of making still table wine and champagne.
Located in Coldstream, in the Yarra Valley region, this sprawling estate with its lush greenery and serene surroundings takes you away and makes you feel like you are in a winery in France.

We are glad to include Mandala in our short list of favourite Yarra Valley wineries.
Glass on all sides, except the space b/w the caf'e and the restaurant, gives you plenty of natural light with splendid views of the plants, shrubs, trees hills and vineyard.

Visited St Hubert's for the first time (after many trips to the Yarra Valley's wineries) and was very impressed: a knowledgeable host, some great (and less common) grape varieties and a nice setting.
It's small restaurant that serves amazing wines and food and has beautiful backyard with trees and gardens leading to vineyards.

Having Dominique Portet himself dining with guests at the table next to us showed that this – unlike many Yarra wineries – a genuine family establishment, and one which takes pride in its food as well as its wine.
We stopped by on a Dancing Kangaroo's winery tour and really enjoyed the picturesque grounds, behind the scenes tour and tasting at Dominique Portet.
