What travellers are saying
- Erin DRockaway, NJ48 contributionsThere are where a lot of well priced items here. We got some beautiful fresh produce and had some great chocolate treats. Definitely worth of stuff.Written 19 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Karina W5 contributionsWe did baby goat yoga at The Amish Farm and House and it was so much fun! There were over 10 baby goats that were brought to the outdoor, padded pavillion where yoga is held. The instructor said at the beginning that you can do as much or as little of yoga as you want. I would definitely recommend!Written 27 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TrueStory1 contributionI just saw the Fulton Theatre's production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This production was hilarious, touching and the acting was tremendous. I don't remember laughing this hard at anything in a very long time. The cast was tremendous, their voices were beautiful, and the choreography spot on. I have seen a number of productions at the Fulton, but none as funny or tender as this one. Whoever cast this show deserves kudos.Written 6 February 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Cassandra SSaint Louis, MO178 contributionsWe visited with a 5 year old and an 11 year old and they loved it! They never have been but I came as a child! It's the perfect size park and they had a lot of ride options for younger kids! Awesome time! Glad it is still aroundWritten 25 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Tom K1 contributionWe attended this show last night in Branson Missouri, it was a ton of fun! The band was amazing. Very talented musicians playing the best country music ever made. It was a great family environment and our kids even had a blast because they knew a lot of the songs. I enjoined how interactive the performers were with the audience and how they made time afterwards to meet with us, take a picture, and sign an autograph, our favorite part of our trip to Branson, #sistersrock! Go see the show!Written 16 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Dewayne PElizabethtown, KY1Â 661 contributionsA wonderful site to visit all around. Free parking, a friendly staff, and ample-sized gift shop...all this before the tour even started. There is a film about President Buchanan which I highly recommend, as he is one of the lesser known and misunderstood presidents for sure. The house tour was led by a docent dressed in period clothing. It was well worth the marginal fee. So many of the family and period artifacts.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Christine F4 contributionsCool to see things almost frozen in time. We had a good time just wandering around exploring what was open. I would say I wasn't a fan of some of the houses that said OPEN but you couldn't get in. Would be nice to get to go in every house. And my one gripe with our trip was at the end when we visited the gift shop the lady gave me odd vibes as if she thought we were gonna maybe steal something. She watched our every move and let me know to put my current shopped products she helped me find on the countertop if I'm gonna keep shopping, saying it multiple times as if I didn't have a choice. I just thought that was odd and off-putting. Just that particular person for whatever reason.Written 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- O7996LJjimbComfort, United States5 contributionsThis is the best visitors center we've seen. It was conveniently located, the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the gift shop was nice.Written 19 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Washington PGloucester City, NJ2 contributionsAlways a nice experience with the people that run the ballpark and good seats. No cash accepted so if you or your child doesn't have a debit or credit card you have to buy gift cards from the office in order to purchase anything.Written 25 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Esther HCanton, CT181 contributionsWhat a great experience! Our guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable and we learned so much about General Edward Hand, a key part of the American Revolution. We throughly enjoyed this beautiful property and learning about this important slice of history.Written 11 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CATHY W3 contributionsFound this while researching things to do.very informative! It gives you a real life size of what the tabernacle looked like. Also learned a lot about the history if the Mennonites and AmishWritten 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- The Martians5 contributionsExcellent experience! Our kids loved it. It’s nice that the activities are self guided and when we went there weren’t any lines to wait in at each exhibit. I was surprised how much my four year old loved it. He was just running through the museum figuring out everything on his own. Some really interesting things!Written 14 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- FranciseKent County, MI8 contributionsI had heard a lot about this park from locals when looking for a park to go walking on my most recent visit. Let me just say im sad i didnt come here sooner!! Just walking around their trails was so calming and peaceful even though there were tons of people there. Everyone that i encountered was very nice and offered small talk. The petting zoo they have on site was cute and the animals were very friendly. I thought it was very interesting and smart that they have the stables for the local mounted police there as well which definitely contributes to the calm nature of the park. They had lots of recreational areas around with basketball courts, playgrounds, and sitting areas scattered throughout the park. It was a very peaceful and heartwarming experience to say the least :)Written 13 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jean BGeorgetown, DE227 contributionsWe decided to try The Hands on House since it was to hot to do much else. We had our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter and 6 year old grandson. Our granddaughter loved all the activities and our grandson was bored within a 1/2 hour.
It was a little pricey for the limited activities and the fact that the outside area was closed for a summer school group from 10-1230. And we were only there until 12. You also pay for adults, which seemed a little much.
Would recommend for kids probably under 4, over that age would be bored unless you spend the time in the outside area if it’s open.
