Lake Sacajawea Park Longview, WA 5.9 km away
#1 of 2 Nature & Parks in Longview
From the spring green grasses, spring blooming flowers in early spring to the breathtaking autumn leaves in the fall, Lake Sacajawea Park is beyond magnificent.
This park has a special allure in that it is unexpected, set amongst neighborhoods and one area of the park has many different church buildings, some very lovely, lining the shore.
The Sloth Center at Zoological Wildlife Conservation Center
#1 of 5 Nature & Parks in Rainier
Upon arrival, you pay your balance, turn in your waivers, park, and bring your belongs (only what you'll need overnight) inside the cabin.
Don't read the negative reviews and try to avoid being freaked out by the off-putting nature of the materials from the Center that you'll see online and need to review before you go.
City of Rainier Riverfront Park
#2 of 5 Nature & Parks in Rainier
The result of these occurrences is the present park, with ball fields, playgrounds, a skateboard arena, picnic areas, and a marina boat-launching ramp (located about where the old marine shipway was).
Some of the world's largest pulp and paper mills can be seen from the park.
Trojan Park
#3 of 5 Nature & Parks in Rainier
It is a 75-acre day-use park that features hiking, fishing, biking, and even a world class Disc Golf course.
We LOVE Trojan park.
Hudson Parcher County Park
#4 of 5 Nature & Parks in Rainier
There are some hiking trails connected to the park, there are plenty of photo taking opportunities in and around the area with you immersed in nature.
Visit the park that day, and you will see more than a dozen immaculately-restored classic and antique cars, as well as muscle cars and other exotic vehicles that attendees have brought to the reunion.
