- Robin F1 contributionWe rented e-bikes from Cycle Portland today and the experience was first class. James at front of desk ensured we were well prepared and fully informed before we set off. He went out of his way to assist us knowing we were tourists from Australia wishing to cycle the environs of Portland.
The bikes were excellent; the map and James’ knowledge of the pathways and circuits ensured we had an adventure to remember.
We strongly recommend Cycle Portland if you want a safe, supportive and knowledgeable place to rent a bike. James , and his co-worker Taylor (?) were outstanding. - TV3871 contributionMy wife and I stopped here on our last day in Portland while celebrating her birthday, and honestly, it was such a fun experience. We’ve never ridden on electric bikes before, so that was a fun experience all in itself. We also had no idea that Portland was such a bike city, so it was great to ride along the bike paths laid out all around the streets of the shop and most importantly, along the river. The river ride was a blast. It was a great way to explore a major part of the city that we wouldn’t have gotten to do otherwise. Finally, and probably most importantly, I have to mention the great customer service from Tommy. This guy was incredibly helpful and really knows his stuff. I highly recommend checking this place out. - Victoria W2 contributionsPortland is very bike friendly. I booked a bike in advance and Ryan was great suggesting choices and adapting to my requirements. I brought my seat, shoes, and front rack with panniers and Miko was very helpful setting everything up for me. the bike worked well and it was great to have for getting around Portland and out to Hood River. Only four of us could pedal and the driver controls the steering wheel and the brake. my daughter sat in the front part and then in the middle of us! There's a second steering wheel that's just there but she enjoyed it! It was $35 for an hour with a 15 min grace period. The guys were super friendly and even let my daughter pick the color!
