This place is breathtaking, I was not too sure what to expect but my girlfriend made me come here when we visit Portland and my god it has to be the place that made my Portland experience. The paying extra few bucks to go on top is worth it. Get to see very beautiful statues and alters. The view is to Amazing in the meditation room. Please be quite when in there because when I was there there was people talking and someone chewing with their mouth open like common be quiet and close that damn mouth 10/10 place

They also take Military Discount here

We have just come back from a family weekend away for my 60 th birthday in this fantastic property. It is ideal for a family group get together. It’s really spacious and so well stocked with cutlery and crockery etc. It is also in a perfect location to explore portpatrick. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

We were in Portland as part of a trip to a football game, and one of the sites listed as a must see for tourists is this church. Because we visit every cathedral and Basilica we find in Europe, it was a natural for us to stop by this magnificent structure a few blocks from our hotel. Because of criminal activity in American cities, no church is left unlocked anymore, you have to ring the bell for admittance, but once inside, you are free to wander to the sanctuary. The view is breathtaking; an all wood interior, with beautiful carvings. I did not ask the capacity, but with the balcony seating my estimate would be in excess of five hundred, easily. The beautiful interior and the very impressive organ make this one of the most interesting venues in Portland. I hope that they find multiple uses for the space, such as lectures and concerts, because the weekly attendance is down to 150 worshippers.

St. Mary's is a lovely cathedral built in a Romanesque Revival style. It's not a huge church, and the exterior is a bit understated, but the interior is warm and beautiful.

Good looking church. This is close to the art museum in Portland. I typically liked the exterior as it well harmonized with some of the tree branches.

Well...have you ever happened across a place that was a best known item to many and absolutely unknown to many many more? Do you think you know leather handmade goods? Have you ever wished you could assist in restoring the walks of life that kept alive the craftsmanship arts? Well a sacred place of craftsmen in the art of leather goods still exists, and has since 1947. Walk right into this hidden gem of a custom small shop and gain a level of quality that no store, or off the rack could ever offer you. Bathe in the joy and sense of pride of being fitted for your own custom leather jacket, gloves, etc... I cannot express the happiness of my random walk through the doors, the talk with the staff and the discussion and choice to get my own jacket. The comments on the jacket are amazing and the mix into a great Portland exploration is to be part of any vacation spot to stop.

This is a very nice facility, and a wonderful bunch of people. There is a labyrinth available for walking and meditation; call ahead to make sure the church is open.

Beautiful building and people. The temple itself is huge and very plain from the back, but in the front it is a celebration of Buddha. Everyone is glad to see you and share their faith with you. You can actually feel the devotion of the worshipers and smell the incense; it is up lifting to see so many positive, happy people. Altars, lanterns and streamers a joyous celebration.

It's a cute church in downtown. The stained glass windows are quite striking. They do jazz vespers and also Bach cantata vespers sometimes. It seems like a welcoming church.

This is a lively, thoughtful community with abundant activities, social justice initiatives, great musicality and a very articulate senior minister!

Only open on a Sunday. Services start at 11:00 am and last for an hour. After the service is a coffee hour for fellowship with the rest of the congregation and a tour and a talk about your questions and the story and the history about the 150 year old Swedish congregation. Two pastors, one is a woman always interesting.... The church and associated halls and buildings take up two entire blocks, only street parking; free on Sundays. Lutheran churches are plain and solidly built.
