Great arts & craft market with unique one of a kind items. Lots of vendors along the river and across the street into town.

Great selection of fresh produce, flowers, meats, cheese, and wines. Relaxing, interesting place to visit on a Saturday morning. Parking isn't too bad, just be prepared to walk a few blocks. Take a bag for your purchases. Things are a little price but you should kind of expect that at a place like this.

This area is dog friendly, bicycle friendly and life style friendly. There are great restaurants in the area and a top notch walking, running and bicycling area. The Spring-water trail is fantastic.

Loved this market! We were here for the weekend, so had coffee and breakfast while walking through the market. The produce and flowers are amazing! This is what you hope your hometown market would be! It is in a beautiful park and makes for a lovely Saturday morning activity.

Fun, bizarre, silly, kooky, irreverent collection of oddities. A fun way to spend some time inside on a hot day, lots of photo opportunities.

This is a mall in the downtown area. It seems to have been spared a lot of the things you see in other building which I assume was from the riots. Downtown is a little rugged but this mall is nice.

Two locations in Sellwood right across from each other. Lots of selection of clothing, antiques and great furniture and unique gift items. We love it at Christmas and never leave without buying something. Great reward program too.

This is an interesting experience. A tour through the mills shows you all the different steps required to transform the raw wool into some beautiful fabric. You should go on the tour before looking at the articles for sale in the shop - they are all made outside of the US! Basically, Pendleton only makes the fabric and then ships it to various manufacturers who turn it into shirts, hats, gloves, etc.

Very interesting to watch the process.

I am so glad that I found my way to Monticello Antiques on a recent trip to Portland. It is so well curated and the items in each stall are a joy to look at. I was able to find two small treasures that could fit in my carry-on suitcase. If I visit again, I will bring an empty suitcase to fill!!
I used public transportation and this shop is on a convenient bus route.

To be honest, I've only gone to the supermarket and Meianna bakery. There are many other shops here like a hair salon, clothing, and other restaurants. The supermarket is large and probably one of the cleaner Asian markets. You can probably find any Asian items that you're looking for here. The location is nice if you want or need to go to other Asian establishments on this side of town and easy to get to from I-205. Meianna bakery has good egg custard tarts which is the only thing I buy here because the other pastries and breads are not what I'm looking for. Prices at both places are very reasonable.

The museum opened in 2018. Friendly staff. Great exhibits. I didn't know that Portland had the second biggest Chinatown after San Francisco. Spent about 1.5 hours there. Walked around and saw many of the mentioned buildings, even patronized the golden horse Chinese restaurant!

Cargo has so many fun and unique things. It's difficult to see everything the first time in. Inventory changes constantly. There are several other retailers within the same walls selling, plants, jewelry clothing etc. Don't forget to explore downstairs too.

Also stop for a snack at Giraffe's for some tasting sake' or Japanese food and drink.

Great place to check out art of all kinds. Lots of unique and beautiful 2D and 3D art here, things you usually can’t find in other galleries. Has an authentic local feel and lots of inspiration, as well as a cute book lending library and classroom. Stopping in is a definite must!

Our hotel was right by here so we went over and looked through the stores. There is also a few restaurants. Large stores - Target, Burlington, Panera, Home depot, DSW shoes, home goods, etc.
