What travellers are saying
- Victoria BIssaquah, WA6 contributionsIt was beautiful and sunny! Wear a warm coat during the spring time, the Ecological volunteers are out there every low tide. They can answer questions and point out finds in the tide pools. We saw a Golden Eagle, sea birds and creatures. If you can get out to the earlier low tide, there are fewer people. Beautiful views and sunsets. They also allow fires on the beach at night.Written 18 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BernieCanada59 contributionsCannon Beach is one of America’s best beach. This towering giant of a rock is fabulously breathtaking! I am amazed by the natural beauty of this place. The entire beach and the reflexion of the wet sand is a natural masterpiece. A must visit place in Oregon.Written 11 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CoralReefWashington2 424 contributionsWe spent a day at Ecola State Park and loved every minute of it.
We started with the Clatsop Loop Trail, from the Indian Beach parking area, up through lovely old rainforest. We saw moss, ferns, bold Douglas squirrels, and chipmunks. In sunbreaks and in misty rain, the trees were equally lovely. Before starting back down along the ocean side, be sure to walk past the hikers’ camp to see the WWII battery and a pretty view of the Tillamook lighthouse. The hikers’ camp would have been an ideal picnic spot (alas, we had left our lunches down at the trailhead).
Then we drove to the Ecola Point lot. On the way, there were elk on the road. At Ecola Point, we had a picnic, then enjoyed the view of Crescent Beach from Chapman Point. This is simply one of the most spectacular views I have ever seen!!!
The Crescent Beach trail was also lovely.
If you have time for only one thing on the north Oregon Coast, it should be the view from Chapman Point. Just amazing.Written 29 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - 126PaulineCBolingbrook, Illinois, United States121 contributionsWe enjoyed exploring here for a few hours. Very beautiful. During our time in Cannon Beach, we went here and West Oswald and loved them both!Written 12 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Tom MAddison, IL191 contributionsThis shop has many beautiful glass pieces by several artists. Amazing what they can do with glass! Glad we went in to check it out.Written 22 April 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- MaddysTrip72 contributionsCan't miss an opportunity to take a picture of a lighthouse! This one you view from land. It is now a abandoned and is a wildlife refuge.Written 14 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BrssjunkTucson, AZ1 039 contributionsTolovano park is in the middle of Cannon Beach and is really the only place where you can see the Sea Stacks that Cannon Beach is known for. Being there in the midst of the COVID pandemic was interesting since there were few people on the beach and it was so much easier to view the Sea Stacks. Those are definitely worth it.Written 4 September 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- quilter1 contributionThis play was well worth my trip to Cannon Beach in all respect but one. The acting, blocking, script, and character development made the show very entertaining, however the costume choices in scene after scene were distracting. I would have enjoyed myself much more if the costumer had made more appropriate choices. The Coastal Theatre is always my main reason for coming to Cannon Beach. It never disappoints.Written 28 October 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- maimmi50 contributionsWe met with the new manager Andrea and Deanna to see what they had on our Lighthouse at Tillamook Rock and realized that this museum is the historical ground zero for Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. We will be donating more items about Tilly. The large replica of Tilly was built to scale and donated and can be viewed 24 hours a day through the glass-windowed house that surrounds it. I was surprised to see a porthole that I had donated in 1980 with a lighthouse picture loop. By supporting this museum you support "Terrible Tilly".Written 1 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NewRecipesForLife406 contributionsSparsely populated, pristine, magnificent lookouts, with Haystack Rock to the south and Tillamook Rock Lighthouse for a must-see stop while visiting the Oregon Coast.Written 21 October 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- patshea2016Norridge, IL236 contributionsWhile on a one day tour of Oregon’s coast, we stopped in Cannon Beach for lunch. Our group consisted of ten tourists and our guide. . As our time was very limited when we stopped for lunch, I did not have much time to visit shops. In spite of our limited time, I made sure to stop at the White Bird Gallery. I was impressed by the beautiful art works they had on display. On a return visit to Cannon Beach, I would like to stop in and spend a little more time as they had some beautiful art works on display.Written 3 November 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Birdman Johnson12 contributionsIf you like giclee prints, this is the gallery for you. The space itself is very pleasant, and there's an interpretation of Haystack Rock for all aesthetic tastes. Plenty of prints on offer, if the originals are outside your budget.Written 19 November 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- kevinLongview, WA528 contributionsWe got the inside scope at this one and the visitor center in Seaside.
Places to go for paddle boards we would never have found, the
State Park with amazing hidden beaches, where to go to drive on the beach.
