- DadandCabCoffs Harbour, Australia1 210 contributionsWe originally stopped here to see the falls which look amazing from the road and there’s a convenient carpark. There were so many people eating such great looking burgers, we decided to give one a try. Unfortunately, they were out of our first choice, the reindeer burger, but the 150g beef burger was so tasty, we never gave it a second thought. The accompanying fries were also excellent. Service was fast and professional and there is plenty of seating, indoor and out with an excellent view of the falls. Highly recommended.Written 6 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- agnetamattssonvhmUmeĂ¥, Sweden29 contributionsHolmön is an island northeast of the university city of UmeĂ¥ in northern Sweden. The island is famous for its annual music festivals: ballads and jazz, that usually takes place in July every summer. There is a ferry from Norrfjärden, Sävar, about 20-30 km northeast of UmeĂ¥. The boat trip takes 45 minutes easy road. The major ferry takes about 110 people and the smaller about 50-55 people. The small ferry can only take one car, so most people choose to walk on the island or ride on small custom-built wagons that the locals drive. At Holmön there is a restaurant, church and a boat museum that shows the former main business of the island, namely fishing. The museum has guided tours and shows the history of Holmön and also various boat models that have been used for fishing, seal catch, ice fishing and so on.Written 28 July 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Johan W50 contributionsFun to travel on a road with lots of snow in the summer. Great views and being a birdwatcher you can observe, with some luck, some of the northern europé species here.Written 23 June 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReslimpanRayong, Thailand3 101 contributionsI haven’t been to Bälingeberget since middle school and decided to revisit it. We did a short trek up the mountain and was able to get some good views of the river. The main attraction is the rubble field that was created during the ice age. The hike up wasn’t to bad. Good shoes are recommended.Written 12 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Hans LindBrussels, Belgium1 366 contributionsThe best part here is the nature walk! And of course the view from the lighthouse - where one can see miles and miles over the water. Do not miss to read the information about shipwrecks and submarineattacks! - Ana LNavan, Ireland2 701 contributionsIf the iceroads are open, you can drive your car to the island and explore it, during Winter. During Summer, you can access it with the tourboat from Lulea or with your own boat. There are nice places to camp, hike, pick berries, andmostly, relax, and enjoy the sun :)Written 13 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went with two kids (10 and 14 yrs). 2,5 hours up to the top and about 1 down. Wonderful nature and stunning wiews. Small cafĂ© on the top. We took local bus nr 1 from Gällivare to Dundret skicenter. A bit unclear where to go, but the locals told us to take the trail on the right side of the mountain. The fastest (but not so beautiful) way is straight up the slalom slope. From the top you have a 360 view and can spot Kebnekajse on a clear day.Written 10 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
