- Amy SSaint Paul, MN60 contributionsWe only got to do one of the hikes because of dogsledding, snowshoe hiking and going to the Sami VIllage but would lovedto return and do moreWritten 23 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReslimpanRayong, Thailand3 101 contributionsBeautiful wooden church. The clock tower has a very unique architecture for Swedish churches. The inside is incredible as well. Well worth a visit when in KirunaWritten 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Barry BAndover, UK114 contributionsOutside of Lulea (~10Km) this place is really worth a visit because of the fascinating history of its' use by the youth of the surrounding districts particularly in 20C. Gives a great insight to Swedish thinking and behaviours, but don't worry it is almost nothing about religion. Make sure you go the visitors centre and go round the museum with interactive exhibitsWritten 16 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - GoPlaces57316081129Constanta County, Romania1 contributionCool tour. Ventilation was too loud to hear the guide all the time. Maybe a loudspeaker would be good next time. Very interesting, I would like to see more animation or films, it was mostly spoken information which makes it hard to picture the shape of the mine for example. Also pictures of the current mine would be interesting.Written 27 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Maz S1 contributionIt was super warm and interesting. It's cool even for those who don't know history of music. Nice point to start looking in it)Written 13 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DadandCabCoffs Harbour, Australia1 210 contributionsThis was an excellently laid out and extremely well presented museum with a variety of interesting displays about different aspects of Sami life both past and present. The design and craftmanship in the displays was second to none and some of the best I’ve seen in any museum. Guides in several different languages were freely available in addition to the information provided in each room. There are things specifically to appeal to kids as well as an on-site restaurant and a shop with Sami wares amongst other things.
I spent a couple of hours in here and didn’t read every part of every display. Well worth your time for the small entrance fee of 100SEK. Highly recommendedWritten 29 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In winter, the flowing water is much smaller than summer but it still has incredible power and noise. The surrounding area is a winter wonderland with lots of areas for fires and taking in the view.
There is also a museum and shop and plenty of parking.

Booking was a bit awkward as not possible via the campsite website. Even with external providers the place could not be booked at short notice. Only at Campsite.se it was possible.Written 28 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Take a walk, a spark or ice skates from Södra Hamn to Gråsjälören or go from harbor to harbor.Written 27 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Arne Bastian WiikBergen, Norway7 contributionsSome of the best hiking trails in the nordics, most cabins have a sauna, where one can relax after the journey of the day. Accessible starting points by public transport, prices quite good for nordics, some cabins are more barebones than others, suggest looking up each one and try to skip the ones that lack the amenities you want. Also go south to north as most seem to go soutwards, to meet new people each day.Written 1 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ReslimpanRayong, Thailand3 101 contributionsThis is a very beautiful church, located in a very serene setting. We visited during the winter and were taken away. The artwork in the church is incredible and unique. This is a must see. We went there when the church opened up at 9:00 am and had the place to ourselvesWritten 26 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cathy SFarmersville, TX233 contributionsChairlift is not for the faint of heart but the view from the top was worth it. The cafe has a very limited selection but the chocolate chocolate chip muffins and hot chocolate were delicious! The service is friendly. Very cozy little cafe. We went up during the day.Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
