Whether you are interested in railways or local and social history, this is a fascinating timewarp taking you back to 1920-30s village life. The detailing of the village houses and landscaping is unbelievable. I love that it’s an independent, and mostly I love sitting in the big lounge chairs and having my drink on the table while I enjoy the film with amazing surround sound. I am just choosing my next film.

Amazing views and information audios from the rooftop (£2 charge). Utterly different to any vineyard we've visited before, and rather refreshing. The hosts were very honest about how they manage the place, their goals and their passion for it.

Just what every parent on a budget needs. Play area is fantastic. Food ok, nothing to write home about. Fortunately we were able to upgrade and stayed in the 'Manor House' although the floor boards were very squeaky. The room was pleasant overlooking the grounds, which we took advantage of for a pleasant stroll. The bed was very comfortable.
The food was tasty and acceptable and staff helpful and friendly
