Was gifted a 2hour falconry experience. Really great to see and handle so many different birds. The handlers were funny polite and professional, really engaging. Was a great day out. Spent many hours there after my experience had ended seeing all the other animals available. Loved it

Pendon is a magic hidden gem, completely unique. Whether you are interested in railways or local and social history, this is a fascinating timewarp taking you back to 1920-30s village life. The detailing of the village houses and landscaping is unbelievable. Have a look at one or two YouTube videos for a taster.

I have been here a few times in the past couple of years and always think “I must go more often” I love it’s quirky layout and atmosphere,
I love that it’s an independent, and mostly I love sitting in the big lounge chairs and having my drink on the table while I enjoy the film with amazing surround sound. I am just choosing my next film.
Long may you entertain us with your great choice of films 🎉💥🤩

Had a relaxed walk in these great gardens with a variety of things to see, not least the stunning weir and the fabulous children's play area.

Excellent free local history and geology museum in listed building in central Abingdon. Staff welcoming and very informative. Amazing views and information audios from the rooftop (£2 charge). For petrol heads the museum has a fascinating video re the MG factory originally based in Abingdon and an immaculate example of an MGB sports car and other automobilia.

We walked from Abingdon and took in Abingdon Lock on the way. The paths were gravelled so it wasn't too muddy after the recent rain. Plenty of birdlife to watch.

Had a great time here with the owners, a lovely couple who are clearly very keen on the world of wine.

Utterly different to any vineyard we've visited before, and rather refreshing. The hosts were very honest about how they manage the place, their goals and their passion for it.

    Absolutely worth a visit.

Wonderful to "call in" and immediately feel at home. Spent time enjoying memorabilia and the history we know well being MG buffs. Don't forget to sign the visitors book....

Had a nice walk around the gardens and along the canal. Loved the ruins and flowers. Free parking for an hour in abbey close. Toilets and a play park for children.

Bravo to the marketing department for making it compulsory to walk through the toy shop to get to the exit. Just what every parent on a budget needs. Play area is fantastic. Food ok, nothing to write home about. Does what it says on the tin.

We took advantage of a Travelzoo recommendation and was not disappointed. Fortunately we were able to upgrade and stayed in the 'Manor House' although the floor boards were very squeaky. The room was pleasant overlooking the grounds, which we took advantage of for a pleasant stroll. The bed was very comfortable.
The food was tasty and acceptable and staff helpful and friendly
The exterior of the building which houses the majority of the bedrooms requires refurbishment and had we not upgraded I don't think I would have been so satisfied
