Fell Foot Park is a delight, from a quiet walk in the park to ensure the autumn colour coming among the trees and the quiet open spaces to the childrens play area the delighted our grand daughter.

Only downfall was the annoying flies which is obviously an issue with nature not the school or horses.

Do make sure to arrive in plenty of time as there is a bit of a walk from the car park, car park is chargeable so have some change, and I would definitely recommend good footwear and gloves, which you can buy there.

A big claim, but whatever the season Tarn Hows delights and provides a sensory treat of impossibly beautiful views, fragrant foliage and the relaxing sounds of nature.
The Tarn itself is stunning so if you want you could just park in the National Trust car park, where toilet facilities are brilliant and take a picnic to the shore of the Tarn ands just enjoy the view.
