We saw this center when we stayed here in July what a guy passionate about his birds some of them which he has reared from chicks stunning collection of Eagles, Owls, Vultures i have ever seen.
For the size and price of the center I wasn't expecting much but both myself and partner were amazed by how many birds were there.

In the center of the British Library there is a tall glass tower full of thousands of books from the personal collection of King George III, Impressive just to view.

Fantastic resource for those enjoying this wonderful countryside.
The bowlees center itself is stunning inside and has some great gifts and serves excellent snacks!
... on a screen and you can zoom in to anything interesting there is a small radio operate display as well and a gift shop so for a cheap day out well worth a visit before it is modernized with a new visiter center
Chain Bridge Honey Farm Berwick-upon-Tweed, UK
A great visitor center focusing on the history of honey bees etc with samples to try as well as gifts to buy and in addition an eclectic mix of historic motoring and travel memorabilia.
The Bee center is fascinating as are the old vehicles and the cafe in the converted bus is worth a visit on its own, A great venue for lunch, snacking or a take away.
