It is a patrolled beach in summer months and there is a nice park with picnic facilities, a playground and an amenity block at the car park.
Would visit again though we prefer Adder as you can take your vehicle down and park it up.

Small off-road track around the lake at the end of the car park, plenty of parking, park and drop toilet facilities.
There is a nice park adjacent to the lake with picnic tables, playground and pit toilets.

As mentioned by others, you park at the car park and walk a 5.4 round trip to the lake and back.
