    Amazing drive in the forest.
    Nature is amazing.
Fresh woody smells. Stunning in every season. I would live here if I was a bird.
    Even if I was beetle.
    Definitely a woodpecker.

Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive is part of the Scotsdale drive, although I encountered some unsealed roads on part of the Mount Shadforth Scenic Drive component.

The drive is worth it to see all the stunning scenery.

Surprised that the wilderness ocean walk that comes off this is actually all asphalted, so really quite accessible.
We were a little bit scared of the snakes but if you’re walking I think they get a lot of warning. We saw a bobtail and some amazing birds.
You have to share the path with quite a few cyclists which given the terrain is very surprising but okay.
Seeing the big wind turbines is an experience, not saying I love them but you get to stand right underneath the big spinning blades if you want. It feels very remote.
The first section up to the turbines is a wide gravel track and the next section is and about 1.2 m wide. There are a number of seats and good luck outs along the way to lights beach.

Had a wonderful time, myself and 4 children. Very minimal previous horse riding experience, daughter’s first time. Ron and Smiley made her feel at ease and confident to go on trail walk. Brilliant crew ensured everyone was confident giving clear instruction before going on trail. Beautiful scenery wonderful experience recommend
