Our family went on a Saturday in late August. Crowd was very manageable and rode all the rides without little to no wait. Park is a little small but perfect for what it is. Waterpark was well maintained. We brought our own food and enjoyed it in the pavilion adjacent to the parking lot.

Just outside of East Durham NY sits a funky little antique museum that has a surprising collection of artifacts, some dating back to the civil war, some even older going back to settler times. The proprietors, Doug and Sancie Thomson, are super helpful if you have any local historical questions.
We were on something of a scavenger hunt looking for some historical records and so were allowed to go back into the archive room. The archive room houses a very impressive colleciton of public records, maps, memorabilia from businesses, photographs, antique business ledgers, and just about any document you can imagine that recorded the history of the area.

We were looking for information on an old Inn that my husband's family used to visit when he was a child back in the 50s. Doug and Sancie were super helpful in finding old brochures from the long-gone establishment and even helped us get in touch with friends my husband hadn't seen for over 50 years. It was a wonderful experience and we were thankful for all their assistance.

My friends took me here for my 60th bday. It was the day after a crazy rain storm in the area and the trails were very muddy, but we had a great time. The two women who took us on the ride - Leah and Debbie - were so nice and warm. They were totally on top of things when my horse got a little agitated and knew just what to do to calm her down. It's a gorgeous ride through fields with cows (including a one week old calf!) and also through the forest. Absolutely recommend this place if you enjoy riding horses.

A friend took me to this lovely shop when I first moved into town from Long Island a few months ago. My Mom came into town to visit and I had to take her! We spent HOURS in this beautiful shop browsing for gifts for my nephews and decor for my kitchen. The women working was so sweet and so patient with us. She helped us find the perfect shirts.. We all got flake bars which were amazing too! I highly recommend browsing through next time your in town. They have something for everyone.

Saturday late lunch, place was empty - thus a very fast / pleasant service! Server was very nice and courteous. Ordered a burger that was really good! Asked it to be cooked to medium, but it was more like medium-rare ... But that was pretty much the only complaint. It was fresh, juicy and tasty! Beer (Guinness) served as needed / cold and refreshing! Though I think that $6 for a pint is a little expensive... Would highly recommend the place if you're around!
