- perakashNew Jersey415 contributionsOther than the fact we were picked up at 2am everything went well. We were driven to Gansaii given a safety briefing and a wet suit with goggles. We were taken out in the boat to shark alley and eight at a time climbed into the cage. Your head is out of the water and when the spotter yells shark to the right you take a deep breath and duck under the water. My only problem was try ing to take a picture while I was doing this. The sharks don't stay still but I did manage to get two pictures of them. They told us many informations about the sharks so we leaned things except from the experience itself, they really care about the sharks and i appreciated it very much. Thank you very much guys!! Unfortunately, it was a bit difficult to see underwater as the water was a bit murky, not to mention COLD. But the guides were great and the wet suits they give do a fairly decent job of keeping you warm. Let me start from the beginning: The making of the booking, quick, excellent, communication.
The arrival, welcoming and lecture about the sea life above all other companies. Jeanine was our teamleader. Well informed.
Safet: safety jacket is a must, well cared for, in a excellent condition.
The trip wonderful, entertaining. We saw 4 of the big five. The Skipper of the boat made every effort to have a super experience. The supervisors on the boat were professional and accommodative towards my grand child and visitors.
We felt safe at all times. The saying good bye with something to eat was great: freshly baked bread with vegetable soup.

Despite the Pandamic it didn't dumpen our spirits even though there are few trips done by the operators due to low numbers.
The drive to Gansbaai is so amazing with beautiful mountains along the way.

He is an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guide so we always have an enjoyable and informative trip. The vehicles used are high quality, well maintained and really comfortable. Miss Kim was very patient with me and my family welcoming us both by phone as well as in person when we met giving all information that we needed.
We sow a lot of shark and all was done with professionally and in safe manner. To do better I suggest to arrange suits for kids to allow also them to do in the water.
