We did a snorkelling trip with Animal Ocean Seal Snorkeling to Duiker Island. It was a fantastic experience to see all these seals. They were curious and mischievous. They came close before quickly swimming on and jumping in the waves.

Walking along Victoria Road from Hout Bay to Camps Bay is well possible. It took me 2 and a half hours combining physical activity with enjoying spectacular views on the Cape shoreline.

It is a 13 km walk, but mind the elevation difference (some 160m). The section between Llandudno and Oude Kraal I found the most attractive. Motorized traffic on the road is annoying and sometimes there are cyclists passing by at high speed, but overall it is a very pleasant experience.

A lovely place for a stroll as long as the wind isn't blowing. Also a nice place to swim if you don't mind the cold water.

We made a short pitstop at Chapman's Peak. Cool spot to take photos and admire the beauty of Mother Nature! So bring your camera and enjoy!

Martin was very accommodating and gave us an inspiring personal viewing of the photographic art that he and his daughter Sam are creating. Their work is visually impressive and often intriguing;it would be hard to imagine anyone not being drawn in by it. Martin's commentary was patient and interesting. He is someone who knows the various layers of his craft and is able to convey it well.

I have visited Maik's interesting fine selection of works a couple of times, always greeted with a welcoming smile and a offer of coffee. Maik's eye and knowledge for investment art have always impressed me, how he is able to spot the next generation of investment artists. The South African art industry need more such refreshingly honest curator/ art collectors. I'm proud to be associated with such a curator/ space!

Three of us booked a Garden route tour for 4 nights from Capetown.
From the beginning all the communications were very clear, had no problem at all.
All places we stayed for overnight were quite nice and we had excellent driver - Sebu.
    Will definitely recommend.

Wow, what an experience! Went there with my family, Short ride, it was bit wavy and the sea was full of curious seals. Really fun and something completely different. Loved the challenge. Big thanks to Johan and the team.

This workshop/studio is a wonderful example of both community outreach and amazingly creative art using recycled tea-bags, tags, boxes and even the tea. It was a thriving establishment that was devastated by Covid. All the artisans were laid off as the founder was unable to sustain the business. When we stopped by there today (first time visit), three artists had been hired back as of October 1. It is apparently in a much smaller space than before and shares the building with other art exhibitors. I agree that it is impossible to leave without purchasing something in your price range. Beautiful coasters, tea trays, drinking glasses and gift bags to name just a few of the items in the store. Definitely a must visit to support the incredible work being done here and enable more artisans to be re-employed. When you go, take your used teabags and tags, preferably dried out. I was told that they accept and welcome teabags from all over the world and I will be sure to remember that when I return to Cape Town next time. Don't miss this place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Chapmans Peak and then on to Seal Island. The only slight complaint we had was that the loud speaker system on the boat could have been used a bit more to tell us more about the area. Other than that we really enjoyed it.

This is worth stopping off at on the blue route of the hop on hop off bus. The settlement needs funds to help improve and move forward. We had Kenny as a guide and he works on behalf of the development team there. He took us to look inside some homes, shops, pub, community centre and medical centre. Money is used for development of the township and it’s people of 33,000. We were welcomed by the locals and did not feel threatened as we were with a respected guide. It’s useful to have a few extra rands in your pocket to buy something from their supermarket and craft centre.
