I was not aware of this place and was told of it by a fellow guest at a lodge we were staying at.
We went there and what an amazing surprise !
We first went on a flower walk with a guide book and then visited the museum
I was blown away and was so sad that we could not stay for the tour due to time constraints.
My friend had a query about a specific plant in her garden which the botanist could not immediately fully answer. But as we made our way to the car, she ran after us and provided us with all the information we needed. That is commitment to your work.
Do yourself a favor and go and visit this place. It is truly worth it!

A small collection of major branded shops. Very busy in the afternoons. Ample parking and enforced covid rules in a friendly manner. Staff in shops friendly. We saw some good specials offerred in December.

This is the most amazing Aquaponics system that i have seen. Louis & Nadine is always very keen to helping you and sharing there knowledge with you. I do recommend going to them and experience the amazing system that they have and please try the organic salads. You dont get any beter than Forestfriends Salad, always crisp and fresh.

We went to play at the "Golden Oldies" morning with the local players. They were very friendly and were happy for us to join them. The course is 9 holes with different tees for the back 9. After 9 holes it was the custom to stop and have breakfast/lunch which was very reasonably priced and good food. There were buggies which could be hired. The course was interesting with lots of trees and bushes but due to the water shortage the greens were in poor condition. Look forward to plaing there agin next year.
