If you visit the campus, be sure to park near the chapel and take the short walk out to the Point Lookout overlook.
They are especially respectful of our military and have a wonderful Gold Star Family Memorial Park.

Awesome cave that's located at the beginning of silver dollar city and is included in your ticket to the park! Huge opening where the have had several hot air balloon inside!
The original attraction at Branson, now a part of Silver Dollar City (free with park access), this cave provides a great semi-strenuous hour long hiking tour for all ages.

2. We love to drive the boat to Big Cedar Lodge, park the boat at the courtesy dock and walk up to the Truman Cafe for a great lunch in a beautiful setting.
Highly recommend State Park Marina for families wanting to rent a boat for few hours or a day at reasonable prices.

The park is a 15-20 minute drive from the Branson attractions, but that is a fair trade-off for wide sites, a quiet setting and a nice 2.2 mile paved lakeside trail that runs from the adjacent marina past the Show...
If you enjoy waterfalls, foliage, lake views, easy trails, caves, and all nature has to give, you will love this place.

From educational videos to interpretive nature displays to the fish runs themselves, the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery is an interesting and educational place.

Play the putt-putt (which has some steps as they are on the side of the mountain that the cave is in) or do the nature trail (a good hike, but take your time and you'll be fine - bring water.
It is a wonderful tour with a fabulous gift shop and nature trail.
