- R Waters3 contributionsGreat place! They’ve got every vintage computer you could dream of. And they’re all switched on to have a go on. Great arcade, too! We can highly recommend the pizza toasties! It’s obviously a place that’s run with a lot of passion. Thanks for a great afternoon!Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RazzyBthefirstMacclesfield, UK1 424 contributionsCame here with a couple of old school mates who are both 'twitchers'. I wasn't expecting such a vast area for walking with a sizeable lake and a very good café, The Hide.
Started at the café, very well stocked, cake looked good. You have a good view of the lake and the birdlife from here. The guys were already spotting all sorts.
We set off for the hides, lots of dog walkers and young children enjoying themselves. It was very muddy and we unfortunately couldn't make it to one of the major hides as it was marooned, so much flooding. I just don't own a pair of wellies, you need them.
This is a great open space for everyone to enjoy.Written 28 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The park would benefit from a cafe and toilets were shut when I visited probably due to covid.Written 28 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - IAN DWigan, UK19 629 contributionsWas invited on a corporate meal for the Leigh v Salford game. Really like this compact ground, viewing from seats was good. The food we had was also very good and piping hot. - Mossy T6 contributionsGreat library here, though sadly the birth, marriage and death records on microfilm have been moved from here to Manchester. There are great art exhibitions here, poetry and book readings by the authors, and folk events with bands like Vision Thing and Merry Hell. A useful venue that can also be hired if you have an event in mind.Written 15 June 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
