It's paved the whole way and it winds through areas throughout the city and then takes you into the woods, along the river, into parks, over bridges, and "scenic" overlooks.
The Lansing Region is so blessed to have this great trail in downtown, going out east to MSU and south to Hawk Island Park.

Amazing park for the family - a real gem!
Kids love the Splash Pad, swimming area is nice as is the play area, there are walking trails and a dog park area!

great park in Lansing for years to fish at the Dam..lots of space all over for picnics and such..many local activities also..A great pool that the kids and adults will enjoy
The favorite was the amazing water park complete with a giant chute style slide and lots of other water features in the pool area.
