The circular drive around the monument allows you to stop on the back side and when you walk to the monument you can get a good view of the bay.
Gorgeous views also.

Colonial era grave sites, interesting headstones and a fabulous view make the trek uphill worthwhile.

This replica is truly a great historical site, walk the ship and see how the Pilgrims traveled to the US and "re-live" the hardship they endured at sea and then on land.

There is park ranger staff available to answer questions and help you find the other historical sites locally in Plymouth including the Pilgrim Museum which is just North and West of the site.
The actual rock is less than amazing, but visiting the site, taking in the history and exploring the area is definitely worth the stop.
