As a part of a bus tour to the area, we had a turkey dinner and a program on the clothes of the pioneer woman. The food was delicious, including pumpkin pie. The presenter was knowledgeable and did a great job.

A beautiful place to pray for our country. The monument is much bigger than I thought it would be. There is plenty of free parking, not sure about a bathroom. Hubby used a port-potty there for workers. I waited to use a bathroom when we got to the waterfront. Gravel driveway and grass to the monument so not great for wheelchairs.

My wife and I enjoyed visiting the Pilgrim Hall Museum. The museum is a wealth of information for those desiring to learn more about these adventurers that came to America seeking a better way of life.

I am from New England and have been visiting Plymouth my whole life. So many tourists and even locals who should know better from New England come to Plymouth disappointed because they are coming to see Plymouth Rock. This is NOT the main Historical attraction in Plymouth . Instead tourists visiting Plymouth should buy the mayflower II Plymouth Patuxet combo ticket or simply the Plymouth patuxet ticket if they want to save money. That is the main attraction in Plymouth related to the Pilgrims.

Plymouth Rock is an antiquarian Relic that was an attraction in the 19th century. If you find yourself there walk a little way and you will be at the mayflower II. If you walk in the other direction for about five minutes, you can go up Leiden street where the actual colony of Plymouth was founded. Plymouth patuxet is a recreation of that colony and a wampanaug village. You have to drive about ten minutes away from Plymouth Rock to get there.

My husband had ancestors who came over on the Mayflower, and some of them were buried on Burial Hill. We were able to find their memorial very easily and to see their original gravestone. It was an absolutely incredible experience, and just mind blowing when you think about how old many of those grave sites are. It was so worth the visit.

Start your visit to this amazing town by stopping at the Plymouth Visitors Information Center. We got a warm welcome from Barbara and Michel who were extremely helpful, warm, kind and informative. We had only a couple of hours in town and they recommended places to see and provided maps, brochures, etc. Meeting them made our trip memorable. You guys are the best!!

We loved our visit, the wine, the sauces & the staff. Laura the manager was so helpful and great to talk with. We went back the next day and had Tess & Mike who were also great. We loved the wine & for $20 we tried 13 wines, comes with a small cheese, cracker plate, sample of a a tasty piece of chocolate and jams & sauces they sell. I bought the springbok sauce. The first day we sat on the porch and 2nd day was a group of 6 of us inside. This is great for couples, groups and some kids were there too.

Newly remodeled Mayflower ship given to US by England in 1950s. Mayflower II is replica of actual Mayflower ship. Tour guides explain what a 60+ day cross Atlantic sea adventure was like in 1600s.

Tour guide was very informative, patient and enthused. I had wished they were grinding corn but that is only on the weekend.

Nice place to walk around. Good views of the water. Give yourself a little extra time for this when visiting Plymouth.

Very fast ferry to P Town. It saved us 1 + hr from when we drove there by car. It leaves early in the morning and you return to Plymouth around 6 pm. Gives you plenty of time to walk, eat and visit the shops. The boat was clean (including restrooms) and the staff is friendly. They serve drinks and some munchies. We usually try taking this trip at least once a year.

Very peaceful and friendly atmosphere we Enjoyed a few days on the water and came back in the evenings for sunset. The people around were nice and respectful of each others space. I would give it 10 starts rating if it wasn’t for the excess of rocks and big ones that you can easily lose balance walking on them.
