Walden is a lovely treasure with a pristine pond, main trail going around the pond and wooded trail, beaches, swimming, kayak/canoe in season, historic Walden site, and excellent ranger Dee.
My son and I had a wonderful day exploring the historic sites in Concord and capped it off with a nice walk around (and in) Walden Pond on a beautiful Spring day.

There seems to be ample parking at the site, and you are also free to walk around the grounds and explore.
He made modest spaces feel spacious with lots of light and views to the outside, and with spare furnishings.

Would highly recommend a visit to Concord to pay a visit as well as the other interesting sites in this charming New England town.
This historic site is well thought out with plenty of parking and the docents are very knowledgeable.

Along with the many museums in Lexington and Concord and other historical sites in the area, the Minuteman National Historical Park is a great place to begin to learn the significant history of this area.
The Visitor Center has some nice artifacts but the video is outstanding and a great introduction for all ages to the significance of the surrounding sites.

We visited the Minuteman Visitor Center (Lexinton) after visiting Concord sites and were extremely impressed with the 20+ minute unique presentation they provided.
Along the way there are four parking views that you can stop and walk along the 5-mile battle road to see the homes of many that lived there during the battle.
