Short walk from the downtown area. Easy walk. The path to get in can be missed as it is an easement between two homes. Dogs are allowed but they need to be leashed. We went in May and the lighthouse was not opened yet.

Beach was not crowded as early May is still off season. Dogs are allowed during the off-season. Really nice shoreline we had the whole beach to ourselves (the benefit of going in early May). Parking looks like it would fill up pretty was during the summer season.

One of the very best places to stop on the island. Extensive local produce and an exceptional baked good selection, making it tough to chose, especially when you aren't bringing items back home, but to your short-term hotel room! Fun vibe and they even have tables outside where you can enjoy your treats.

Great place to explore on bikes. Nice to cycle round and view the houses and wildlife. Cycling can be tricky on the Sandy roads. E went to the golf course and circumvented it on a cart track past the graveyard of the original inhabitants.
No facilities at all on here island to our knowledge .
    Crappy ferry a fun event

This rustic brewery in a barn was a great place to grab pizza while on martha's vineyard, we took the city bus right to the restaurant. I loved that there was a nursery right next to where we sat. I wish they had wine, i tried their sweetest brew and wasn't impressed. We got the pretzel bites which were delicious, and the margarita pizza which really hit the spot. The bathroom had a description of how it was founded, be careful of the spiders on the corners of the floor and wooden walls in there though.

    Small Garden gem
This was a well kept garden in the midst of a lot of wooded land . Sadly the flowers weren’t quite out but the care and lay out was apparent and we loved the peace if the place and it oozed the love given to it by its volunteers

We had a wonderful biplane ride over the towns and beaches of Martha’s Vineyard. Our pilot Mike shared great stories and history of the areas we flew above on a crystal clear day. What a memorable experience! Highly recommend - even finished off with a barrel roll!

Saw the interior when on a Preservation Trust tour. I absolutely loved hearing the sound of the bell. The interior is stunning - reminded me of a ballroom.

Spent a lovely afternoon exploring the extensive hiking paths. It was great to get out of the crowds and into nature while on Martha's Vineyard. We enjoyed the setting and recommend this for couples and families alike. This is a beautiful spot!

This is such a fun island. We had such a fun time at low tide. So many animals and a beautiful lighthouse. It's a great place to walk around and relax

If you're lucky enough to know someone with a truck and a sticker - this is the way on four wheels to go and beach it!

I walked by this a few times before I realized what it was. It has a great view of the harbor. At night the moon is beautiful from this spot

We went and the farm stand was closed. We drove through the property and it was beautiful. There was a sunflower farm where you could pick and lots of animals.

This is one of the most popular beaches on the Vinyard, but this particular spot/ location is the absolute best.
