- Fodera6 contributionsLoved strolling marginal way, such a refreshing iconic place to view the ocean and enjoy the sunshine on your face, all the while getting some exercise in, highly recommend!Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - dngtigPreston, CT40 contributionsGreat musicals. We go every time we are in the area. Always a great time. Wonderful theater without a bad seat in the house.Written 4 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NHjoSaco, ME8 609 contributionsI always stop here when on Route One going from Saco to Portsmouth NH (except on a summer weekend, when it's just too crowded). This time it was really nice -- warm sun for mid March and several tourists, but not thousands (again, like on a summer weekend). It's no wonder that the beach is among the top ten in the country.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NHjoSaco, ME8 609 contributionsIt was St. Patrick's Day weekend and good weather, so there were quite a few tourists milling around. I took some nice shots of the cove, the harbor, and the Harbormaster Shack's assortment of birdhouses and other nautical paraphernalia.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Craig FSchenectady, NY31 contributionsA great beach with and excellent view of the ocean. Easy access to the beach with a large (paid) parking lot. Make sure you bring your beach chair and umbrella. You will want to stay there all day.Written 23 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- 437happytravelerLexington, MA60 contributionsSpectacular little museum for people who like American art and beautiful gardens.
This little gem is set on the rocky shore, with a modern building that makes the very most of it's site, with a glassed in front that let's you look straight through to the ocean beyond.Written 16 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Two fishermen were taking advantage of the abnormal 50-degree weather and hopefully catching some fish. The river is always interesting to see during any time of year because of the low and high tides and the way it meanders under the footbridge before joining the Atlantic at Ogunquit Beach.Written 1 January 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ZMAN15Westbrook, CT5 contributionsWe loved it! The items are of great quality and beauty. Everything is unique. The staff was welcoming. It's not just a store, it's a destination!Written 19 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Laura FEdina, MN24 contributionsWe passed by and couldn’t resist stopping in this cute building. They have backpacks for kids and adults that you can check out. We checked out one with a bucket, net, and sea life guide and played with it along the shore. Such a neat idea and prevents the dilemma of buying beach toys when you won’t be able to carry home. The librarian was kind and helpful.Written 20 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Deborah A1 contributionJim and I have been shopping here for well over a decade because in addition to the Christmas items, Rusty has antiques. Specifically antique bar pins and stick pins that Jim knows I adore, collect and proudly wear. Every year we'd go to the Ogunquit, York Maine area and we'd visit Uniques and Antiques along with the other shops in the Perkins Cove area. Inevitably, Jim must have gone back on his own because my Christmas and birthday presents always came from there.
A year ago last October Jim unexpectedly passed away - while cleaning, I found Jim's hiding place for my Christmas and birthday presents - of course, special treasures from Uniques and Antiques.
I stopped by to let Rusty know about Jim, and as we shared memories and stories, Rusty reached into one of his cases and handed me a stick pin with the moon and a star in gold and seed pearls. He just said, "From me" and wouldn't let me pay him. Little did he know, that on the back of our cottage I had lit a star and some twinkle lights to look like a shooting star in Jim's memory. Thank you Rusty - in a world that can seem so impersonal, you truly are exceptional!Written 24 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We were in Ogunquit for 3 nights and each night we ended up there. Fantastic!Written 22 September 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - NHjoSaco, ME8 609 contributionsI love the history of this little bridge. When I went, it was mid March and early in the morning, so it was relatively peaceful. I took a few shots from on top of the bridge and the surrounding area.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
