Up at the northern end you will find Leffingwell Landing, a wonderful state park with spectacular views of the ocean and the coastline—a great place to settle down for a picnic.

A beautiful dense forest here with trails to traverse...everything in the state parks here now compromised by wildfires, so if hiking is your expectation, best to check ahead.

Park, then go through gate, up a hill and you come to the check-in hut for PGE, which owns this amazing stretch of coastline.
