    Stunning sands !

You can drive down to park near the dunes and enjoy a walk across the sands depending on tides. Very clean sands.

Stunning drive. Different view round every corner and if the light changes do does the view. Moonscape is one way of describing it.

Coast and beach are so beautiful! And quiet with very few people around! Long access road but with passing places.

Stunning scenery of rocky cliffs, amazing turquoise water, white sands and sea stacks. All of my favorites in one place. Breathtakingly beautiful for anyone that likes rocky/cliff scenery. Climb around for different viewpoints. We climbed up the left side coming in. It was a hike, but well worth the view. There is a huge lily pond adjacent, but it wasn't blooming when we went. Time it right and you'll see both.

There is plenty of parking. There is a reasonably short walk down to the beach. It is dog friendly. There is white sand and turquoise seas. The views are amazing, a photographer’s paradise. There was some mist on one day we visited and it was ethereal. There is a peaceful cemetery nearby, what a wonderful site.

A wild and rocky gem ! Not frequented by tourists, we were the only ones there. Dont forget to drive a little further to the view point for the majestic cliffs and sea stacks.

Superb unspoilt beach on the west coast of Lewis, well worth a visit. Also, don't miss the nearby Dalbeg beach.

Loved this place. Ideal for the extended family - grandparents, parents and two small children. Spent lots of time and had lots of fun in the very well set up play park and then enjoyed one of the shorter walks. Boardwalk meant the 3 year old could run back and forth with less risk of tripping or turning her foot on rough ground, the baby could enjoy it all from her buggy and everyone was very happy. So happy we went twice!
Lots of hairy oobits about (woolly caterpillars), plenty small birds bobbing around in the trees and bushes, and an obliging eagle or two!

Gorgeous soft sand, crystal waters and sheltered. I'm a first time kayaker who went with husband (he's much more experienced). Was gentle but still some waves. Car park small only about 10 cars can park. Toilets there drinking water available from hose and able to wash off sand from wet suits. Next the caravan park so lots of families but was nothing like crowded beaches on mainland - here if there's more than 10 people the locals call it 'packed'. Rubbish bins which is great too. If had been a warm day a definite for spending day with a book, kayak, swimming and picnic

This is the last beach (almost at road end) on the road north along the east coast of Lewis, is one of the last we visited on our Outer Hebrides holiday, and is one of our favourites. Probably (hopefully!) too far out on a limb for tourist buses, you may well have it to yourselves, as we did. The highlight is the group of sea stacks at the southern end. Parking is good - and don't miss the short walk further along the road to the "Bridge to Nowhere" (and the actual road end!)
