- hijockBellshill, UK79 contributionsWhat a wonderful place to visit. A truly hands on experience, the owners totally adore all their animals and it’s clear to see the animals adore them too. We held chickens, scratched the pigs backs and fed them, stroked the baby alpacas petted a huge sheep, learned all the animals names and all about their personalities
and just generally had an amazing time. It’s not a business, it’s not commercialised it’s just a fabulous place, the highlight of our visit to the island and memories that will stay with us for ever xWritten 4 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. All of my favorites in one place. Breathtakingly beautiful for anyone that likes rocky/cliff scenery. Climb around for different viewpoints. We climbed up the left side coming in. It was a hike, but well worth the view. There is a huge lily pond adjacent, but it wasn't blooming when we went. Time it right and you'll see both.Written 16 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Hercules RUllapool, UK327 contributionsThere is plenty of parking. There is a reasonably short walk down to the beach. It is dog friendly. There is white sand and turquoise seas. The views are amazing, a photographer’s paradise. There was some mist on one day we visited and it was ethereal. There is a peaceful cemetery nearby, what a wonderful site.Written 28 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DonkScotlandScotland193 contributionsLoved this place. Ideal for the extended family - grandparents, parents and two small children. Spent lots of time and had lots of fun in the very well set up play park and then enjoyed one of the shorter walks. Boardwalk meant the 3 year old could run back and forth with less risk of tripping or turning her foot on rough ground, the baby could enjoy it all from her buggy and everyone was very happy. So happy we went twice!
Lots of hairy oobits about (woolly caterpillars), plenty small birds bobbing around in the trees and bushes, and an obliging eagle or two!Written 29 June 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I'm a first time kayaker who went with husband (he's much more experienced). Was gentle but still some waves. Car park small only about 10 cars can park. Toilets there drinking water available from hose and able to wash off sand from wet suits. Next the caravan park so lots of families but was nothing like crowded beaches on mainland - here if there's more than 10 people the locals call it 'packed'. Rubbish bins which is great too. If had been a warm day a definite for spending day with a book, kayak, swimming and picnicWritten 11 July 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
