Beautiful location and very well equipped luxurious rooms . We were in a vineyard room and it was all we needed and more . Luxurious bedding and great bed . Lovely bathroom and stunning views
    Beautiful wine tasting room .
Dinner and breakfast at Savoye were delicious and staff excellent .
The only reason not to give maximum recommendation was the regular drop off of wifi ( not shedding ) and the issues around mischarging and problems with check out payments .
Otherwise a fabulous stay and great location .

Best wine farm by far in a fantastic setting (when they are open) with more wine options than your average bottle store variety

Difficult to find the place. I would suggest more signage to direct people. You drive past shacks on the farm to get to the actual location. Snake show and crocodile tour was very good. Handlers are well educated and the animals look well taken care of. For a solo adult, I wouldn’t suggest going in the school vacation.

They call it "Bocaditos", tapas-style food, which all is freshly prepared and even the tortillas are home-made. One has a choice of sitting indoors, on the terrace or by the small lake. The service is very knowledgable albeit a little bit slow. Do a wine tasting before or after lunch as they have a very good choice of their own wines.
    A wonderful, highly recommendable experience.

Soul Barrel has been my favorite, and go-to brewery, for a while and I am glad to say after my last visit they have just kept on getting better. They have a wide variety of different beers ranging in different styles and flavours. I particularly love how they keep on improving their core range, while including some experimental ones here and there as well. On-top of the beers the owner, Nick, and the rest of the staff truly have a passion for what they do. This again just shines through in their quality beers. At the brewery there is a restaurant for when you are feeling peckish, as well as Painted Wolf Wines if you are looking to do some wine tasting. An added bonus for me is they have a nice outdoor kids play area, within view of of most of the tables, where the kids can enjoy themselves as well. The brewery has also recently expanded to include a larger indoor seating area for those cooler Cape Town days. Something to look out for, when you are planning to visit Soul Barrel, is they regularly host events ranging from special beer releases to even a "mini Oktoberfest". Overall, since the first day I visited till now, my love for Soul Barrel has only grown, and I can't wait for my next visit.

Booked a 2 hour ride and from the booking to the welcome at the centre, everyone was so friendly and helpful.
We rode with Ashley as our guide and she was brilliant, super helpful and full of information about the environment and the horses.
The ride took us through lemon trees, grape vines, plums and blueberries with opportunity to taste the fruit on the way past.
The horses were beautifully cared for, responsive and well behaved, giving us the opportunity to trot and canter along the trails besides walking and talking while we enjoyed the scenery. Breathtaking mountain views made this a ride I personally will never forget.
Thanks again Ashley for looking after us and for getting me cantering for the first time, it was terrifying & fantastic in equal measures.
The opportunity to get in with miniature horses, cows and foals was an added treat.

My husband and I visited Alpha Equestrian as a day activity for his birthday. We had the most incredible day. Alethea was a wonderful guide and made sure we enjoyed our ride and Colleen was a splendid host. We couldn't have asked for a better day!
