This is a great little park with docent-lead talks about the manatees & the ecology of the park as well as opportunities to see manatee cows "training" their young & interacting on the river among the kayakers.
This is a lovely little nature park that features a butterfly garden, playground, board walks, kayak rentals, a gift shop and best of all, a gazillion manatee!

Very well maintained boardwalks and piers for enjoying nature....the veterans memorial is stunning and an excellent tribute to our heros from WWII to Iraq.
One of my favorite walking parks both along the hundreds of feet of boardwalk through the mangoes and out to the pier in the river with great views of shore birds and river scenery.
