I like to come to this place for the amazing views of Lake Tahoe. But there is swimming in the summer, and sun bathing. And it is a great place for a picnic. Located along the Lake in the middle of town.

I was in the brewing company with my friend on our trip around the West Coast and this was a place I really wanted to drink some beers. This is a microbrewery for the local community of Tahoe Vista, or Kings Beach if I'm right, and when we walked in as 'outsiders', we still felt very welcome.

The owner of this brewery is amazing and very friendly. We had some good chats on the bar inside, and I still follow him on his Instagram page. If I am back around Kings Beach or Lake Tahoe, I will come back for another beer.

The beers that the brewer makes are amazing and very tasteful beers, and gives them local names of the area. I really admire that.

Great views, beautiful small intimate beach. Good for family fun and sun. poor parking, might have to walk a block or two, especially on weekends

I called the North Lake Tahoe Water Shuttle to make a reservation, as their website recommends, for 2 on the 6:38 shuttle from Captain Jon's in Tahoe Vista. Lexi, whose phone etiquette skills leave much to be desired, asked me for a credit card number. I asked if I could pay with cash. She said, "No, the drivers don't carry cash." So, I gave her my card number.

On the way to Captain Jon's it began to rain. As we sat sipping cocktails, we wondered whether the storm would prevent the boat from coming but the rain soon let up as the system traveled south. However, at 7PM the boat had still not come so I called the office only to find that it closes at 5PM. I left a message explaining the situation with my name and number. I did not get a call back the following day and so I called that afternoon. I again spoke with Lexi who told me that she would have to call the Water Authority to verify that the shuttle did not run and if it hadn't I would be issued a refund. Three days later, I noticed that the charge had gone through and so I called again. This time I spoke with Gabe and, after being put on hold for about 10 minutes, he told me that my refund would come through in 7 to 14 days.

To me, this seems ridiculous. There are always storms moving around Lake Tahoe and so, according the bartender at Captain Jon's, the shuttle fails to arrive regularly. Why then would they require a credit card number over the phone, why would they process a charge before they confirm that the shuttle ran, and why can't they issue quicker refunds? Also, why does the reservation office close while there are still shuttles running and why don't they already know which shuttles ran and which didn't?

I will not attempt to use this service again.

This place is so much fun! My family of four had a fantastic time playing a nostalgic game of putt putt under the pines & stars. They play fun music & it’s a great atmosphere.

I am new to golf and went to take a lesson from Colin who was highly recommended. My wxperience has been on the driving range and on the putting greens. The place is green, beautful & right next to Lake Tahoe. The location could not be better. I will continue lessons with Colin as I learned a lot and improved my fundamentals. There is a very interesting history to this course that involves Hollywood stars from tge past.

Nice local art gallery. They have a nice variety of original art, glass work and jewelry. We were happy to find a couple special pieces to take home.

I'm a repeat customer and come here often. I live in Reno, and always come here with family and friends. They rent by the hour, but are pretty cool if you're a little late, and don't charge extra.

It's a lakeside restaurant with some picnic tables outside and views of the Lake from the inside. The food is good, emphasis on sandwiches and fund stuff.
